Amazing price for a pocket sprung double sided mattress, if it's any good...

Bought this for my son a few days ago for his 'big boy' bed. Very comfortable and seems like great value for £82. Added bonus, it was delivered in less than 48 hours! (free shipping).
Time will tell how long it will hold up for, but like I said, the quality looks and feels good and it is a damn sight more comfortable than the cheap 'memory foam' tat we bought last year for ourselves.

Maybe its me, but seems very cheap for a "good" mattress, I presume its just good for the price?

Hmmm doesn't sound like many to me. Does that include the toes behind the headboard position because that's the wife's favourite?

I would certainty avoid purchasing this type of mattress, too cheap, flat packed, if you open the packaging you won't be able to return it as you won't be able to vaccum flat pack it again. Just avoid this rubbish and try before you buy from a real shop. You have been warned : ) Just read the 1 star reviews and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I agree. I have mine for just over a year and stitches are coming off on the sides.

Is this a genuine sale or does anybody know whether this is the price this company tends to sell them for anyway. Wondering whether to buy or wait until next month ...

Anyone recommend this? Or a different one?

From many of the low reviews it seems to be unsupported round the edge at the sides. That's really not good.

Ours has just come. No horrible smell, comes rolled then expands in air.
Side support isn't the most amazing but really good for a child's mattress. Quite firm.

I agree with the other comments. I have mine for just over a year and stitches are coming off already. Maybe ok for spare room or childs bedroom.

Constantly amazes me that people scrimp on something they spend a third of their life laid on. I got an opurest mattress with a 10 year guarantee for £995. That's 27p per night for the best sleep you will ever have.

We swapped to memory foam dormeo mattress 6 months ago . Can't believe how much more comfortable memory foam is , and it's really helped my bad back . Cost £450 on sale from £600 for one of there higher quality ranges . But Best Buy we have made , always buy what you can afford but the more a mattress costs normally means the quality and longer it lasts .

This is a sareer mattress. I have had mine about a year and its been great. Its quite firm - which i prefer.
The price isn't particularly good - i paid under £100 for a double size.
As they come rolled they don't have an edging rod that most pocket sprung mattresses have. But i have not found this to be an issue.
