Got these delivered today from Bang and Olufsen's Ebay Store. Ordered Friday, so next working day delivered.
Customer return's at this price, but as good as new. Boxed, with all original accessories. All colours at this price (links in below post).

These come with 12 months warranty too.
Sensational headphones. Just glorious sound as giving them a run out with all types of genres.
Also 10% off if you buy a 2nd pair. No excuse not to treat the other half for £150.

Thanks! Yeah, I was thinking the same. The Beoplay deal does seem to be a great deal. And I know you're getting a quality product, made of quality materials.

I'm caught between these and the Sony mdr-100abn. Want something that are comfortable and reliable Bluetooth. Noise cancelling is a plus...if it's any good. What do you think?

But you'll be better off trying them both in a shop.
I like Sony as a brand and the ABN's, but I would go for these at this price as they are a steal. The ABN's have been as low as £109.
I love mine. The H4's are supposed to be even better.
connected them to a pc via usb and downloaded the update tool from bo

The ones who have received sealed boxes - aren't they still refurbished? Used but maybe with new ear-pads?
I have ordered a black pair of H7 which I'll receive next week.

Why would anyone pay £165 on a set of headphones? I always remember my old physics master with a signal generator going through the spectrum asking the class to raise a hand and lower it when they could not hear the signal anymore. Seeing as children have better hearing it was amazing how different everyone was. The Teacher then said when most people can afford a decent hifi they are wasting their money as they cannot tell the difference!

There is more to it than mere sound frequency humans can hear. Like soundstage, reproduction, amplification, quality of materials used, build quality, etc.

Ordered mine after reading this post on Sunday night. They've arrived today and the sound is amazing. I had tried cheaper over ear wireless headphones around the £50-£60 but these are streets ahead. Music is crystal clear and I like all types of music. Box was a bit scratched but can't complain otherwise. Headphones are in excellent condition. Really happy

I personally prefer over ear so it was the h7 for me, cheaper too. I read that others preferred the soundstage of the H7s to the 8s. Depends if you really want ANC
IWannaBeAdored to jsw72

I would choose over ears every time. The H7's do a good job of blocking out noise, even thought they don't have any ANC.

Several comments here raise concerns about these being seller rather than manufacturer refurbished, but as they're being sold by B&O's eBay store, aren't they the same thing? I mean if B&O are selling them surely they were refurbished by them? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Assuming warranty is with B&O itself as well? Shame it's only 12 months when B&O supply 36 months on new products - second hand might be better in some cases.

The Official B&O Play eBay Store
This clearly says B&O's Official Ebay Store.
If it was someone else other than B&O claiming this, I'm sure they would have been pulled up on it by now.

Anyone compared those to AKG K550?

18 Mar 17#30
The thing with BT headphone is if it was refurbished by "seller" instead of "manufacturer", god knows what battery did they use if that was replaced as part of their repair...it could be some cheap China battery that might not pass quality or safety standard for all we know.

I don't really see what can go wrong with them in the first place. They'll either work or they wont. In the case of wont you'd probably blow them up yourself through pushing to high a volume through them.

Yet to see a decent review on these, AKG y50/y50bt seems to be the ones to go for in this category and available for around £49/£109 brand new.

14 Mar 172#6
I own both and there is no comparison I'm afraid. No fault of the AKG's, but the B&O's are in a different league, but it's a completely different price point.
I'm going to sell my AKG's now.

No disrespect to AKG they are great headphones, but these are a level up. Value for money wise the AKG are great. BT versions aren't worth it imo for twice the price.

18 Mar 17#28
I have the AKG Y45BT and Y50BT, and I have tried this headphone at a Costco, and this B&O is not only on a different level, but it was very light and best thing is it is around-ear not over-ear pressing on your ear. With that said though, I'm don't really trust "seller refurbished"...as I have bought things from ebay that were seller refurbished that worked initially, only to die a few months later. Don't bother if it's not at least "manufacturer refurbished".

Received them today and have to say I am very impressed. Look great, very comfortable and great natural sound. They also look mint. The touch panel is very clever and they have great range. Not sure I would pay RRP but for £169 they are a bargain! Great find IWannaBeAdored!

Glad people are receiving them and enjoying them. Yeah love the natural sound. I've played around with the presets and manual adjustments on the Beoplay app, but better without them.
Also doesn't suffer from the hissing sound that's been reported on the H7's. Don't know if the firmware has fixed this.
The trick with adjusting the volume is moving your finger clockwise/anticlockwise on the edge as opposed to just inside the raised edge as I've seen on YouTube vids.
Had so many compliments from people wearing these travelling to/from work.
I found these case on Ebay.com for £13.39 delivered:
Only if philips brought out the Fidelio X2 in wireless. All my headphones (fidelio X2 and V Moda M100) have 3.2mm wired jack, I'm concerned that future phones won't even have a 3.2mm jack anymore.

17 Mar 17#24
Yep, got mine today too and they also look pretty mint. Nice sound and comfortable so far. I had a pair of Plantronics Backbeat Pro which sounded great too but were a bit big and unweildy. I'm happy with these. I sold my phone with DAC onboard so I'm just on my Tab S2 but still sounding nice.

Re 21, it is called presence. You can hear just outside the range you think you can hear, but the fact is everybody's hearing range is different and your hearing diminishes with age. For some people people they won't tell any difference, regardless of costs.

I had to pay Eon £380 for 2 months gas (and another £160 for 6 weeks electric) over Christmas so, although expensive, £169 for a treat isn't so bad. Plus, if I look after them, the resale value on these is good. I've been looking for a long time. Had these on a watch but got fed up and decided to go for it. I can do without heat and power for a few months.

Both The y50's and y50bt's are What Hi-fi's best budget headphones, both compare with headphones much more expensive, the B&O's don't even get a mention at any level. I have a pair of both and can't fault them, the bt's are the best wireless headphones I've heard when paired with my Pioneer XDP-100r, performance and battery life are superb for a compressed signal probably down to a bit of electronic tinkering and that they use aptx when available.
Btw I also own a set of Shure SE846's so I'm used to hearing quality, they obviously can't compare with the detail and quality from those but I have yet to see a pro review that recommends anything under £300 over the AKG's simply because of the rediculous value for money they are.

'Seller refurbished - Customer returned product. Fully working, with all accessories in original box. Will show light signs of use (e.g. small scratches) 12 Months Warranty'
That's what put me off purchasing them. And returns aren't free if your not happy with the condition of the headset. Been this price for a while too.
