I was given an S6 as a work phone last year after 4/5 years using an iPhone. IMO the S6 is a load of ****, not a patch on iPhone 6. This deal seems cheap enough though.

the deal seems good....
but to be honest I cannot see why anyone would but any other top end smartphones new when the oneplus does a ridiculous spec phone for almost half the price of the big boys.
Heat as for under £200 it's worth it.

27 Mar 171#12
heat for the fact that you get 12 months warranty, but this listing and price is for good condition which is their 3rd tier of condition after pristine and very good, and states that the phone will show moderate signs of wear and tear.

Did you 'dip' into the Misc forum? That's a very closed shop. They have users patrolling for any non-right wingers who dare venture & post there.
I've decided to avoid it totally

Cosign. IPhone 6 from a galaxy alpha and the lack of customisation and basic features are ridiculous.. no in built phone call recording is my main gripe..bad customer service and iPhones don't go wel

I don't need much storage usually 16gb does me. I bought the moto g5 a few days ago from amazon 3gb dual sim. Dunno if to return that and put the extra tenner and get this.

Good deal and with the Nougat update just starting to roll out for the S6, you've got good hardware running the very latest version of Android.
As opposed to a similarly priced iPhone where Apple will have already all but ceased support on your device.

Almost £200 for a used phone that's almost two generations behind is a good deal? It might have been for a phone that is genuinely good. Which S6 is not.
I would suggest buying on a credit card. Trusting Music magpie's warranty may not be a good idea.
Stoofa to basergorkobal

LOL. Yes, the S6 was a good phone. Very fast, plenty of memory and plenty of storage for the average user. With the Nougat upgrade you've got a phone running the very latest OS.
What are you comparing it with for the same cost? An iPhone that Apple will already have abandoned. Other wise, some cheap Chinese handset?

wasn't it that s6 had short battery life with it's miniature capacity for a flagship phone great specs tho

This phone is in the Refurb Good so the lower end, i'm looking for a phone myself, im still using an S4. I want a new phone and S6 for me was bad in battery terms compared to the S5 and S7.

I'm a samsung fan but couldn't live with the s6 and sent it back in favour of keeping my s5 ,had far too many flaws for a flagship phone the obvious one being poor battery life.

28 Mar 17#38
32GB is loads of storage? What about a small battery which is not user replaceable? So buying a used phone with a used battery that you can't replace is a good idea in your opinion?
You know no warranty will cover the battery. And if you do replace you will void any warranty there might have been.
I'm not comparing it anything because it's a used handset so not a fair comparison really.
I'm just in the process of sending a Samsung Galaxy S5 back to musicmagpie bought off of ebay. Described as "very good condition" however my opinion differs somewhat. Scratches to the screen and signs of heavy use to the case and bezel.
If you read musicmagpie's ebay feedback, it's common. I know they sell a lot of stuff, but there's still quite a bit that is being miss-sold by the looks of it due to poor quality checks etc.

Err... how is that refurbished then?
Purchii

"Refurbished" seems to be the blanket term if the product can't be sold as NEW or Open/Damaged Box. Also, selling as "used" would not indicate thorough testing and the 12 month warranty.

Thanks for posting this OP.
My Samsung S6 screen has gone black and none responsive after the screen first went purple then blue. I've sent it to Samsung although I've had it over a year so it's probably out of warranty.
In the meantime I've spotted the Note4 which is what I originally wanted before purchasing the S6 15months ago via O2 refresh posted here.
My question is, shall I purchase the Note 4 instead of the S6? Thanks.
