The 2 Alan Wake expansion packs 'The Signal' and 'The Writer' are free of charge for anyone interested
Seems really strange how the last 18 months the prices of games just plummets a month after sale. A few years ago a crap COD game etc would still be £25 9 months or more after release, yet now there £12.99 etc after February....crazy times!

What games are you talking about that "plummet a month after release"??
Infinite Warfare has been out since November (and has only recently come down cos everyone wants the Modern Warfare version), and Quantum Break is almost a year old.

Infinite Warfare plummeted in price to sub £20 within a month from release, the legacy edition price crashed within a month to the point where Shopto were selling it for £25 (and obviously crashed both their main site and the eBay outlet within minutes). It got so bad that Activision put microtransactions in the remaster to try and recoup the lost potential revenue based on their usual sales predictions for CoD.

Loads of games have plummeted quickly over last couple years...including a few real good ones.

That has always been the case, ever since gaming began!

Oh behave...that shopto "deal" was clearly not intended. Only a handful were despatched and most were cancelled with no explanation - it was clearly a mistake!
We're talking about game prices coming down here, not misprices :smirk:

Titanfall 2...dishonored 2...last guardian...these were all around 20 quid after couple weeks...all good games...this hasn't always been the case in gaming...

Exactly. Seems very strange considering that the game industry has, potentially, never been richer.

Game was disappointing but looks great and the TV show was a cool idea. Worth it for this price as you get all of Alan Wake, the better game IMO.
