What a steal? Surely! I bought a PS4 pro Feb 6th. Took it back end of last week before the 30 days ran out. No real difference from my first PS4. So thought I'd be better off with the 350 quid in my bank. Seen this and had to jump on it, surely a mistake with the extra game? I've ordered Clancy on Amazon today, Keep that one, sell this one, sell horizons, possibly sell the pad undecided, sell my old PS4 for over a hundred quid as it's boxed got everything with it, so I'll be paying a few quid for a new slim console. The Argos deal is still on for anybody not fussed about ghost recon (which is good by the way, I played the beta). It's on until the 12th but stopped advertising it now that's all. If you get it in store the price adjusts still to £199 but not on the website

Some people don't need the hassle for £3 although I agree this is a better deal

Eh, looking at the reviews for wildlands is what seems to not be worth the hassle. I mean even ACG who tells you to buy every single game out there full priced, on his review for Wildlands his words were specifically:

"for this game I would recommend waiting for a long time, maybe when it's £10 and when a lot of the issues get patched"

Just got the phone call to say no white in stock so they've cancelled the order. Could of had it in black but prefer the white, looks like I'm keeping my argos order. Metacritic rates it pretty well that's reason I thought it was worth a bash. Got horizon to get my teeth into anyway so that should suffice till wildlands drops in price

The deal was ps slim (white/black) with and V2 pad and horizon for £200 but there was a media code to give out at the till to have a 10er knocked off making it £190 what made it even sweeter is in some stores not all store you also get a free gift of either res7 fifa17 on latest COD :smiley: I got package on Thursday and then sold the PS4 for 190 on its own, so I got horizon and the camo V2 pad for nothing.. then I bought another one the next day and sold the second copy of horizon to cex for £32 and then sold the ps for 190 again so I then I was £32 up and had 2 V2 pads (camo/silver) and horizon for nothing.. so then I bought another the next day and I got the free gift of res7 so after trading horizon in again I actually ended up with a white ps slim, 3x V2 pads (camo/silver/magma) horizon and res7 for £126 :smiley: so I think I'm right when I say that deal was a bit better than this one..

I sold my ps4 last summer because I wanted to get the pro (even though I have a 1080p). But this deal is too good to pass on in my opinion, so ordered myself one. I'd say order it, before deal finishes again and return if you dont feel like keeping it?

Plus like others have said the ps4 is costing 140 (230 - games (60) - controller (30)) if you can be bothered selling stuff you dont need. In my case I will end up selling ghost recon, horizon seems like a must have and an extra controller is always handy :smiley:

I think the console deals go in cycles, at the moment have been some very strong deals but at the start of the year were quite poor.I think this one is a great price, Argos have had some great deals as well so will be interesting to see what they come out with tomorrow when they change their offers.

I was umming and arring about this but decided to take the plunge.

Still have couple dozen PS3 title to finish but would have wanted Uncharted 4 anyway and a spare controller is always useful. Quite a few PS4 only games Ill eventually want to play as well so after trading GRW and using my clubcard points I've never used its worth the price for me.

In case you are leaning towards getting uncharted 4, I would say get horizon zero dawn, since uncharted 4 is available for cheap nowadays (18 on amazon). Unless horizon is not your type of game at all. Could also sell ghost recon, and buy uncharted with that money

I went for it but Dawn was OOS and I usually miss these sort of deals by a few minutes, wasnt risking it this time. Cex give £9 back for U4 so will keep that but have got GR on the XO with the two controllers (not missing that deal either :smiley: so will flog that.

Now just have to find some room for it and try and get my backlog down so I can jump on the PS4 only games Im looking at.

Cant fault the price after flogged all the spares, probably works out a little cheaper then normal but as cheap as Id pay for a secondary console and a spare controller :smiley:

It looks like this deal contains two offers that should not be compatible, which could result in them cancelling orders. The free GR Wildlands and free game and controller deals should likely be mutually exclusive.

No, they can be combined, i've asked them before. (Whilst Tesco do make mistakes, they generally know what they're doing with deals like this. They are also done in such a way to make you feel it shouldn't work, it creates a mass rush of purchases)

the Argos deal was Horizon + Controller + Slim for 199.99 (still active if you can find stock)

In essence, Tesco are doing the same deal, except they're charging you 30 quid for Tom Clancy on top, (thus Tesco are using this as
an opportunity to sell another game. whilst keeping the price sensible)

Hopefully you will get your dispatch orders today. Only issue I can see is if there are any stock issues. Whilst the console is out of stock, the offers are still live on the webpage suggesting that it live and valid workng offer. I dont think is an error but have been wrong previously.

If there are any problems contact customer service. If for any reason you dont seek a satisfactory conclusion, an email to the CEO customer service asking for resolution has always worked for me in the past

Tom Clancy is a brand new game, so even if it's dog poop like the previous one you can just dump it on Cex for £32, effectively making it cheaper than Argos by £2

Absolute bargain of a deal but an absolute effin nightmare to deal with. My first order was split in two, pad and console coming today two games coming Monday. I rang up to find out why the two games that are out now are being delivered to my house on Monday, and why the console and pad are going to the store. Woman on phone didn't know so she rang around rang me back to let me know it was something to do with being pre order. So it didn't make sense to me. I said can you just refund the two games and I can buy them in store rather than wait. She said ok, end of conversation. Next thing I get an email telling me that I'd be now charged 274.99 as it's not in the bundle anymore. I ring up again asking what the hell is going on? Where's the logic in removing two games for the total to rocket to nearly 300 quid. I said can you put the games back in the order. She couldn't do that now. She asked if I wanted a full refund I said yes, she went to do it. Couldn't do it as order is being processed, I'd have to do it in store. I was not impressed. So I reordered when more stock of the games had come in, delivery today, games today but turning up in a different package than the console and pad. I ring up to see if my items have arrived. She said they had they are on system as signed for in store, she went to find them and they were no where to be seen. I get a call back saying they've found the items. Apparently the Yodel delivery driver had signed for them in my name himself!! They were supposed to get delivery at the store before 12, he didn't turn up till almost 2pm claiming he'd made a mistake. He had obviously tried to pull a fast one. Hope no one experiences anything like this.

It's never a good idea to ask for items to be removed from a bundle offer- you will not be refunded the full value of said items. Sorry to hear about the delivery, that's not great at all.

Finally everything was dispatched; really sorry for those who got cancelled for some reason.

And if you take items out of a deal the price will go up, illogical but that's how it goes.

I made a complaint as I thought the possibility of losing almost 550 quid if I had left it a day then rang up to find out where my stuff was and I could have been told I had signed and collected the items. Made a complaint. Got twenty quid back on my card. Not great but something. Sold the two games 35 each (had a copy of TC already) sold my 2 half year old PS4 140, 20 quid back from Tesco . Give them a call. It's a freephone number. Horizon seemed to drop off my order, a quick chat with customer services and it was added. Could be that they are waiting on stock? No harm in asking.

I just did. Contacted the customer service team. They were saying its two promotions together so that issue. I haven't been charged for the game :disappointed: but they are escalating it to the other team.

Maybe stick with it for now. I think that's why my order dropped off one of the games- they added a separate order and a gift card payment to get me the other item for free. Here's hoping that happens to you too!

Well absolutely gutted! I ordered it on Tuesday 7 March for it to be delivered to my adres. Yesterday got a call that everything but the ps4 had been dispatched. So basically the 2 games and controller I have received but due to stock issues they can't deliver the ps4. So what happened now is they returned 96£ to my bank account, the rest costing me 140£ looll! Obviously going to return the other items too now. Oh and I called them if it were possible for me to pick up the ps4 from one of their stores, they won't let me.

I collect my order from Tesco Store on Thursday ( console and controller ), Ghost Recon and Horizon was shipping as wasn't any option to post at the time.

So on same day when I got home from work went I to see my account and Ghost recon was shipped by Yodel and tracking status said delivered.. was impossible because nothing arrived, so I check the tracking number on Yodel website and it said " Your parcel has been delivered through your letterbox 08 March at 12:56 ".

No parcel was left in my letterbox, so I contact Yodel live chat and they said that they will investigate and call the driver for a meeting and get back to me within 24 hours ( they never did ), also I contact Tesco live chat and they said that they will contact the courier and get back to me within 24hours.

so on Friday end of the day they send me a email saying that they have now reply from Yodel that provide proof that the item was delivered and that they will not issue a replacement or refund. then I reply back and asked what proof because the parcel didn't got into my door, then they said that this

"If you wish you'll need to contact Yodel who can provide the proof of delivery as we won't be taken this any further as we've had the sufficient information to let us know that both games were delivered.

I got the games being reordered by Tesco. It's a system fault on their side. Collecting it tmrw.

Contact the head office email address earlier in the thread. Ask for proof of the item being delivered, a signature or similar. That sort of thing is awful

Actually Tesco is aware of this system fault. They have accepted it n honoring the deal. So worth keep asking.

Yes please. I did call them and tried their online chat. I can not believe that they refused to accommodate me in any way, I was even willing to pick up the ps4 from Tesco a few miles away from me: but apparently the warehouse and shop stock is not interchangeable.
