Guys I bought this but only horizon zero dawn was delivered and when I rang them they said ps4 pro is out of stock and I was only able to buy it due to an error, they told me to ring back today to see if its back in stock, it isn't. They now told me to wait till Friday! I ordered it on Sun 11th March, what should I do?

Horizon Zero Dawn looks sweet on a PS4 Pro and 4K TV! Haven't tried any other games yet. Our lad didn't know I was buying a Pro, so he got a very pleasant surprise when I came home with it last night.

I reserved at 3 different Argos's around Birmingham. The first two fluffed it and failed to deliver. The third store delivered, though I had to get them to physically eyeball the box and confirm it was there before I drove over.

So took a LOT of ringing customer services and about 30 miles of driving around the different Argos's. So I wish I'd just spent the extra £20 on the next best deal from GAME.

Shopping is meant to be therapy, this wasn't. I never used to shop are Argos before this, and now I remember why. In future I'll steer clear and stick with the retailers who don't mess you around.

I managed to get mine this week, one kept appearing in my local homebase argos.

Managed to pick one up in Brixton! It was going in and out of stock on their website.

all worked fine and managed to get it at the bundle price. fortunately on their tills they had the correct offer price showing

No PS4 pro stock for collection or delivery. Expired.

I reserved this deal about a week ago, to be ready for collection today. Drove to the the store (as instructed to)... low and behold, they didn't have my PS4 Pro and couldnt tell me where it was or when it would arrive. Complete waste of time. Also it took three members of staff to find my reservation number on the system, what sort of IT systems and business processes to these muppets use?

So I went back online and another local store had one in stock, so I reserved it. Got the msg from Argos it was ready for pick-up.... Low and behold, they didn't have my reservation either, and this time they had the cheek to say my order would probably be cancelled and I wouldn't even be in a queue. How can an retailer take your order, inform you its ready for pickup at the store and then there be nothing at the store?

I wish I'd paid the extra £20 or so quid and spent my money with someone who can deliver. The time I wasted driving around today was worth more than the £20 I saved by trying to spend my money with these idiots. I'll go try Game or John Lewis next...

managed to reserve online, though after further review the total to pay at the store is 396! have they stopped the bundle deal i wonder!

Apparently, 1 became available last night at my local argos in homebase so I snaffled it. Hopefully it'll be there as the deal link seems to be gone today.

Managed to get the PS4Pro from one Argos and the game from another and they sorted it out for me so the game was free as per the offer! Got a £5 voucher too.

Well, it's taken me 3 days off constantly checking the argos app and watching either the PS4 pro or Horizon being stock but neither at the same time in any of the stores near me when finally, a miracle occurred at 11pm last night - both in stock at the Argos which is literally a 5 minute walk from my house. Reserved and picked up this morning.
Keep looking and have faith, stock is coming!

I ordered this offer for collection from Birchwood, Warrington, only Horizon was OOS, I assumed I'll be able to collect Horizon when available in stock. After completion of order Argos displayed it removed Horizon from my trolley. Anyway, I hope Horizon is in stock in next 7 days and Argos can add it to my order.

Saw there were stocks at Bedford and was thinking if I wanted to do an hour round trip tomorrow, but then the nearby Argos at Bletchley turn from out of stock to order and ready to pick up in 4 days, so I have managed to place the order for the Pro and the game just now. I think more Argos will start to accept order for pick-up 4 days later etc, so keep an close eye on the status for your nearby Argos store on their website.

No not missing the point as I said no stores have it in stock around me so couldn't do this.

I think Argos must have new stock arriving soon, when I checked yesterday they were out of stock everywhere near me, today they all say ready to collect in 3 or 4 days.

I bought a PS4 Pro from Argos at the beginning of February - stock was really sporadic at that point and every local physical shop was out of stock. Even Amazon didn't have it and the only place that did was ShopTo. I refreshed the Argos site multiple times a day and the one near me about a week later finally had the console to reserve. I reserved one and by the same afternoon they were out of stock at every Argos within about 50 miles. Went and collected it next day.

I don't know why these are so hard to find but I'm guessing it's because Sony didn't make many or expect them to really sell, but when they surprised everyone with the PS4 pro boost mode update everyone that was holding off buying one finally had a good enough reason to do so, causing a sudden massive surge in demand and stock shortages.

Framerate boost is the most important aspect to me. As a PC gamer I always found the very common 30fps framerate in many console games to be jarring. Far more PS4 games on Pro will be 60fps @ 1080p and it was for that reason alone I decided to go for the Pro when I bought my first PS4.

Will be great to see how many games benefit from boost mode when it is released. It is out there with beta testers already.

I think you're missing the point bro, what he meant was find the stock somewhere go and purchase the deal then take it and return the newer console you just bought using your old receipt as it will be sealed still. That way you get your game free as per the deal and you get to just keep the Pro you already opened.

Been checking on and off tonight, looks like a few more stores getting stock in, still debating whether to bite now or hang on for more deals...

Yeah there's some confusion with performance mode, it just locks resolution to 1080p but still runs locked 30fps, so you lose resolution for no real gain as it pretty much stays locked 30fps anyway.

Its a bit different to other games that give you 60fps or just run at an unlocked fps.

I've got a pro and play it at reduced super sampling as I prefer better fps and added extras..The game is going in my top 3 games of all times and is the best looking game I've ever seen.

Managed to reserve one last night when a few local stores got 1 or 2 in stock. If you're a night owl like me, it might worth checking around midnight - 1am. Happened last night for me anyway, despite it being out of stock for weeks now.

Just to let you guys know, I bought a ps4 pro from argos last week. On seeing this deal I chatted to one of their workers online. I basically said I was a little disappointed that I had bought a ps4 pro as a new system and then suddenly there was a free game included with it this week. I asked if anything could be done as a "good-will gesture". (Maybe a wee bit cheeky as it was basically my own hard luck). However, the guy took my details and is sending me a 30 pound gift voucher. Not bad customer service I have to say.

I did the leg work and checked with them.

Stock should be available online next week, my local depot is due stock on the 8th, so hopefully will be available by the time the deal ends.

I just checked on the site you can use to check all Argos stores (which this site blocks it seems) and there are only 5 branches with a PS 4 Pro in stock. My nearest is 100 miles away. Great.

Hm not really that much difference, it's hard to see the difference side by side. It's good to get to future proof though if you don't have a PS4 originally though.

I'll just wait for a Scorpio at the end of the year since it'll be a proper upgrade, I feel like the Pro isn't enough of a leap over my PS4, plus I have a 20th Anniversary edition console. I'm also loving Play anywhere as I play on my PC and I have my Xbox One at work for lunch time, so it's so handy.

I'm more interested in PSVR, but Sony haven't kept up the momentum, so I'll wait on that too, OR for £450 seems like the better buy as the PC has so much more for VR.

Horizon ZD is supposed to be a big system seller for the Pro, it's a shame some of the big retailers are out of stock of the console.

As far as I can see they don't have any stock in all stores. They shouldn't be allowed to offer this deal if they have no stock at all.

Only about 9 stores nationwide have Pros in stock.
