Heat added. I was originally going to get this on PS4, but after getting a Switch and loving the ability to just take the console out of the dock and carry on exactly where you left off (and vice versa) I am sold on getting the Switch version
so the same game with just co-op added. I thought the game was very simple on the Wii U compared to other Lego games, as though they'd dumbed it down a bit so wouldn't see the point in co-op unless playing with a very young child.
Also the original Wii U version utilises the second screen quite a bit, not just for the map but as a spy camera using the gyro's built in, obviously this will have to be taken out of this version.

I'd say a remaster of the Wii U version.
This version will have much better load times (Wii U load times was beyond terrible for this), Improved visuals, 2 player co-op exploring this GTA Lego world type game.

It's definitely by favourite Lego game, aside from perhaps Dimensions, well worth a purchase if you haven't played it before. This price is brilliant compared to the likes of Amazon as well.

This game is hilarious, I am not a fan of the Lego games but this is something else, I hope sales are really good for it because it deserves a sequel.
I would say the Wii U version would be the definitive version as the gamepad adds a lot to the game, and graphically its not going to be much improvement on the XB1 or PS4, I imagine the Switch version will be very similar in graphics..

Speak for yourself, disastrous sales but far from a disastrous console. I would argue that the 'Wii' and the 'Switch' are disastrous consoles considering both were/are minor improvements to old tech in the 'Gamecube' and the 'Wii U'.
The Wii had some dreadful shovelware, and after trying the Switch out at the launch event in Hammersmith I was far from impressed.

13gb you havd to download if you buy the physical cartridge eg you pretty much downloading the game as they only putting it on a small capacity game cartridge, if you dont have internet then you wont be abls to play straight out of the box!
Switch owners looking to get hold of LEGO City Undercover were left confused yesterday after images of the game’s box cover went online. The issue revolved around a warning on the cover stating that “up to 13 GB storage” would be required to play the game, taking up a significant chuck of the 32 GB memory that comes with the Switch as standard. Thankfully, this morning Warner Bros. provided Eurogamer with a statement that the information was “listed incorrectly”, and that Switch users “do not need to download additional content to enjoy the full experience.”
