Price matching Game again. Game had this yesterday and it's instore too. Do the right thing and buy from a retailer who creates their own discounts not just price matches :man:

To be fair, both are as bad as each other but my Amazon experience with a failed dispatch of a NES Classic Mini has tipped me over the edge! :disappointed:

If only the white pair was same price, would match my ps vr. Good price.
Just read reviews, one concerning reveiw and not sure if there is a fix now:

"I wish i had read more reviews and forums before buying. I agree with others the build quality is poor on the headband and especially the hinges. Before you buy look up the headphone chat issue on google and see you are not alone with this issue. Basically you either get the game sound and no chat or just chat and no audio. However the game audio was impressive but pointless with no chat. After 2 days of trying every trick in the book (yes i tried it all) i had an hour on the phone to sony technical support who ran me through every "fix" possible that i had already tried to no avail. I then had to put the ps4 in safe mode and re-install the system software update version 4.50, sony told me this update has caused many issues with consoles. This did not work so we did a complete reset and wiped everything (which i was not happy about) yet again this did not work , the volume bar in settings was still greyed out. After a supervisor at technical support exhausting all his advice he gave me the best advice yet he said it's a major issue with these sets he can't promise a replacement will work so return them for a refund which is exactly what im doing. Also read the reviews about how many are held together by tape. Does not serve its purpose i would advise not to buy until sony find a solution to the problem. Very disappointed."

Why have they put the mic in the ear cup?
Nobody can hear me and if I turn the gain right up, apparently, I sound like Darth Vader!

Each to their own. That is actually one thing I really like about these as I hate the conventional design with a big ugly mike sticking down as it can get in the way or be easily hit causing a loud bang/pop for the other people in the voice party. Never had any problems with other people hearing me though as I'm only an occasional online gamer I perhaps haven't tested the voice aspect as thoroughly as you...

Mic quality is frequently overlooked as it's not something you experience... As with you, many people don't often play online so as long as they function well as headphones, people's expectations finish there.
I chat with my mates most nights, even when we're playing different games, so mic quality is important for me as it's key to an enjoyable conversation for everyone.
