If comparing a genuine Xiaomi USB led light, the 'Enhanced' version has a significantly longer light emitting section for more light.
But if you're comparing against the unbranded copy in the first reply, that likely won't be nearly as well made or as bright as the genuine Xiaomi version, 'Enhanced' or not.

Pros: Nice looking light, will run off power bank.
Cons: Tends to emit sparks, destroys everything in its path, threatens to rout mankind.

My own experience of getting genuine Xiaomi products from them is good enough to convince me. I haven't seen anything to convince me that Gearbest have any reputation for sending out fake Xiaomi products?

How do we know if it's even a genuine xiaomi product though? It's gearbest...

Does a laptop need light? it produces enough light itself, surely?

Not unless I point the display at the keyboard to light it up, but then I can't see the display. The brightness of the display also causes my eyes to adjust so I lose my night vision.
*edit* bought light for no good reason, fan because summer is coming and the 20" industrial fan we have atm is a bit loud for personal use.

Brillant accessory. The enhanced version has a switch (near usb end) with 4 levels of brightness, so well worth the extra.
There is a neat wee fan unit available too, worth investigating too. Again Xiaomi quality. Blades pull off for travel. Maybe handy for your work desktop, as its quiet in use. £3.03 (24% off) in blue or white, http://www.gearbest.com/cables-adapter/pp_185398.html

I have brought 3 of these, cracking little lights, you won't be disappointed. I couldn't work out why the light was so good. I think that they have a very good CRI (Colour rendition index) makes other LEDs look very poor in comparison. After these I now agonize over CRI when purchasing LEDs...It's like high DPI retina displays, you didn't miss it before you had it, but can't go back.

Yes more than adequate for reading a book, my brother has one, it's extremely bright.
I just ordered one for myself a min ago, never bought from gearbest before, but at that price (and with paypal as a payment option) it was hard to pass up. Cheers.

These are genuinely good for a portable light at that price if you've got a power source. The fan is alright too.

I'm a Xiaomi convert, quality gear IMO. Yet to receive fake Xiaomi products from orders with Gearbest, Banggood, Aliexpress or Geekbuying.
