So got a email with this deal this morning, seems a really good price for one of these, i have been keeping a eye on them as have the older miband 1s and this seems the lowest it has been in a while.
The original is a really good band and I expect this will be, ordered one for both me and the missus at this price.
I haven't orderd from either company. So I have no idea whether one is better to deal with than the other.

Still wearing mine about 6 months in and convinced 2 people so far to go with it. My Jawbone strap broke and rendered the whole thing useless. I chose the Xiaomi because you can change the straps. I get about a month's worth of charge at a time =)

Update app and band - if that doesn't work reinstall app via Google play.

Is it possible somehow to track cycling with this?
shakerstevens to Gannet
14 Mar 171#13
No, it tracks steps. It can track distance but only by the steps you have taken.
I've got one and its great but use it for running/walking.

Mine only arrived today but you can link it to other apps; i've linked to Endomondo so i'll know tonight when I cycle home from work, obviously that assumes you cycle with your phone for GPS.
Unless you mean cadence, in which case no. Try the Moov Now.

I get an extra large strap from aliexpress and attach it to my ankle and put the app in to treadmill mode and use on my exercise bike. It's not totally accurate as they distance is a little skewed but it's better recording something rather than nothing could put it in outdoor running mode then it would track the route via GPS too and prob thing your the fastest runner in the world lol

You want a smartwatch 3 from sony (or a more expensive, dedicated device) to track cycling. Gps built in!

These are great devices for the money. Battery lasts well, the app is functional, I find it comfortable and light to wear. The HR monitor is a bit hit and miss even when it's working, so not a great loss when it doesn't. Gets lots of great reviews, and well worth a punt, we have 4 of the series 2 versions in our house since Christmas, and no problems for any or them so far.
Ours came reasonably quickly from Bangood.
I agree, I find it at it's worst when I'm working out (and therefore need it the most!!). Having said that, reading online reviews suggest most wrist HR monitors are similar, so it's not necessarily because of the price of the unit. A chest monitor is the only way to get an accurate reading 100% of the time.

Ok - basically its a portal site and the idea is you visit the cashback site first and find the retailer you want to purchase from. If they are listed on their site (not all retailers are), you can click a link which will then take you to that retailer. This will be logged by the cashback site and any purchase you then make will 'tracked' by them. This means they will make a record that you have visited the site on this day/time and made a purchase for £x.
You will receive a % of the initial purchase back (varies between retailers). It usually tracks within a few hours but can take a few months before you can withdraw the cash.
The main two sites are TopCashBack and Quidco. Both can be equally reliable/unreliable as the other in my opinion at tracking purchases, but over time the cashback builds up and you can withdraw it into your back account, or exchange for vouchers like Amazon whenever you want to. If the purchase doesn't track you can submit it manually, but would recommend you read up more on their websites about doing that
