Shame development on getting these working with Linux has stalled. Can only hope MS will release a BDA driver for Windows. Extremely unlikely though :disappointed:

I've always wondered if these will work in Windows 10... I'd be tempted to buy a couple to allow my HTPC to timeshift TV.

The Xb1 will be getting a update in the next few months, and that update will included a new picture in picture feature, so you can bet these things will be jumping up way in price once people can have full screen gaming and the Tv playing in some corner without having to lose one quarter of the screen as the snap feature does at the moment.
Grab it now while it is cheap.

Yes you do, unfortunately Microsoft scrapped plans to add full DVR features like recording though when they pivoted away from Xbox One being a central media hub to just a games machine.

Yes, but not just freeview but freeview HD. This is a great price for a decent DVB2 tuner, just a shame no record feature :-(
