It's really not though is it.
I presumed you were allowed 3 passes but didn't know which ones. They could all be entertainment only.
Don't just assume one thing and then say it's self explanatory. I was going to ask which ones myself so clearly not self explanatory

COLLECT 10 PROPERTY STICKERS IN ANY COMBINATION NOW TV PASS FOR 10 PROPERTY STICKERS LIMIT PER PERSON
Choice of ONE of the NOW TV Passes set opposite for 10 Property Stickers in any combination
Entertainment 1 month
Sky Cinema 1 month
Sky Sports 1 day
Kids 1 month
Total of 3 passes can be claimed per person and each claim must be for a different category of pass
Note: Each Property Sticker used in a Collect To Win prize claim must not have been used in a previous Collect To Win prize claim and each Property Sticker used in a Got 10 Spares Now TV Pass claim must not have been used in a previous Got 10 Spares Now TV Pass claim (although for a Collect To Win Game prize claim the same Sticker may have been used for a Got 10 Spares Now TV Pass claim and vice versa).

Seems like a lot of hassle just to get a now tv pass you can pick up for very little with an outdated box or even on ebay.

Thanks, OP. I never visit often enough to usually worry about these things, but every so often do a large order with the kids, so will keep it in mind.
Those saying it's a lot of hassle etc., yes you can get Now TV passes other ways and doing this isn't worth it just for the pass, but if you happen to be using McDonald's anyway, it's a useful addition.

To clear any confusion, you can claim up to 3 NOW TV passes from the following categories:
1. Kids - 1 month
2. Entertainment - 1 month
3. Movies - 1 month
4. Sports - 1 day
You can only choose each category once. So if you choose sports the first time, you must choose one of the other 3 on subsequent claims.

The main thing to remember with McD is that when you do a drive through say you have a voucher beforehand and often they forget to ask for it. It works with coffee vouchers all the time at the majority of Mc D drive throughs ✔

9 Mar 172#30
He means you go into a mcd's and look at peoples garbage after they have finished their meals and left their trays on the table instead of putting their leftovers in the bin...then take the stickers off the cups that people didnt want.

I'm not sure why this deal is getting so much heat because the title of it is very misleading. It says "Now TV Pass free £0.99" implying that you can get a pass for only a 99p spend. But you cant get a pass for that, you need 10 tokens so the minimum spend is actually £9.90. So just shy of £10 for a Now TV pass? Well, if you're going to be eating McDonalds anyway it's ok and better to get something for it than nothing, but that headline implying that it is a deal for a pass for just 99p really isn't correct at all.
fiestasteve44 to Haircut_100
9 Mar 17#36
Go into McDonald's buy a 99p apple pie. Lie in wait for people to not use their stickers then u have them meaning you can get a pass for 99p
phewcharyztik to Haircut_100
9 Mar 17#40
It won't cost £9.90 because you get 2 property stickers on each medium meal item and 3 on a large meal, so if you buy say a large Quarter Pounder meal you'll get 9 property stickers. Then there'll probably be a couple left on the table that someone else pulled off their meal earlier.
shockwaver13
9 Mar 172#33
Lmao! Can't believe that people can't understand which passes you get and how this deal works and even argue that it's not self explanatory when it clearly is and after it has been clarified despite not needing clarification! Come on people how stupid can you be?

or ask your family and friends (who are not Now TV customers) to bring there spare stickers home for you to use. My cousin and her family visit McDonalds at least once a week, so I should get enough from that alone to get the three permitted passes per person.

To clear up the above confusion RE: which Now TV Passes are available, this is direct from the T&C's:
2000mph
9 Mar 17#38
They also have 1,500,000 NOW TV passes available for Instant Win. Cinema and Entertainment for 3 Months, Kids for 4 Months and Sports for 1 Week.
According to rules you are allowed to use only one of each type of these, so if you get lucky and win 2 of the same then guess it can go to a friend/ebay or set up a new account.
However if you win these and also get the passes from the 10 Sticker promotion then you can use both, just not at the same time.
So plenty of chances for lots of Free NOW TV if you eat at McD anyway but I wouldn't go out of my way to get these.
bitm2007 to 2000mph

Once people have claimed the pass from the 10 stickers, does the pass start on that day or can you choose when it starts?

7 Apr 17#67
You pretty much get to choose when to start it - you get emailed a code which you then input on the Now TV website. The full details are in the list of rules on the MaccyD's website, I think you get until the end of the year to input your code (but don't quote me on it). I think you can store the daily sports code on the Now TV site to start when you want, whereas the other passes will start as soon as you input your code (unless you're already using that type of pass, in which case the free month will add onto the end, as long as you input the new code when you're in the last 30 days of your current pass). This all looks a bit complicated when I type it out - probably best you go and look at the small print yourself!
