Hori ones - Very were selling the Mario one for £10 for a while at one point & the Zelda one has been on Amazon for around £7 a couple of times - although that's been in different flash sales. Maybe I've only ever bothered looking when they've been super cheap but £17 doesn't seem such a great price.

Can this be used with other games too or is it just really only supposed to go with smash bros?

It works as a Wii classic controller pro so will work on any Wii or Wii U games that support classic controllers including all virtual console titles.
This price isn't great tho as I've bought a few of these for around £10 previously, although that was since time ago now so one of those 'great if you have a time-machine' comments. Good controllers but have not voted either way.
