Best pre-order price around at the moment, as far as I can see. Currently £44.99 everywhere (£42.99 from Amazon for Prime members)
365Games take payment on order, unfortunately, but if the price drops before release, you obviously pay the lowest available.
This is a pre-order - the item will be despatched to you on or before the release date of 07/04/2017

And I thought it was Nintendo fans who were insulting the competition for all their lazily rehashed remasters...
Nintendo: selling you yesterday's hardware and software at tomorrow's prices!

This is a remaster that's coming out on Switch, Xbox One and PS4, published by Warner Bros. This isn't a case of Nintendo being greedy.

The price for Switch games staggers me, but this one doubly so - it's a port of a game from 2013.
Heat for finding the lowest price ATM, but still... yikes.

That's all Nintendo do, same games rehashed and remastered each generation!
You can bet they're also already working on their next console.

Well it is a multiplat for PS4 and Xbox so it's best they keep up, and also not many people got a Wii U so this is their chance to play this amazing game.

Most probably up there with the best games on the Nintendo Wii U. Ideally it would have been priced at around the £25 - £30 mark, unfortunately it's not to be.
They've added local co-op to the Nintendo Switch version, which is a major missing point of the Wii U title for a LEGO game, so that's a welcome addition to this release of the game.
It's Nintendo, we know how they price  I think at £36.99 in comparison to the pre-order pricing from other retailers currently, its a good deal.

What the hell? The Wii U game?! Haha! I had no idea, all these ports are bizarre.

5 Mar 171#7
If you look around, you can get the original on the WiiU for £15. The fact this new port is £35+ on every console (presumably cheaper on PC) is frankly astonishing. I don't care how much work went into it or how good a game it is, that's going to seriously hit sales.

One question whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy surely nintendo loyalists would of had the wii u and probably this game and those same people have probably got a switch so wont even want this bit of a pointless release.

Pretty much in the same way the PlayStation loyalists owned The Last of Us on PS3, you mean?

On the Wii U, it was probably the best Lego game to date.
I'd imagine the price will get pushed down some more, as this is no longer a Nintendo exclusive. It's a game I'd like to revisit, but not sure if I'll go switch or PS4. But happy to wait and see how far the price will tumble

Possibly, it's £35.99 also at 365Games for PS4 and Xbox One.
Personally, if I was deciding between the two, I'd go for the PS4, purely for the novelty of finally playing it on other than a Nintendo console

Hope we see some new original games on the switch, I'm not into Zelda so there's nothing to tempt me to buy one and porting over old games from Wii U isn't going to convince me....Heat for the price and a good company in 365 games, my m8 works there and his brother owns it but the big N isn't for me ATM :disappointed:

Nope. It Lego being greedy lol .
I would wait to buy tho as Lego games don't do well unless associated with a massively nostalgic film (look at the Lego movie game ) as they can't be arsed to create their own characters and plot or even tweak the games more than they absolutely have too

But that was at least a remaster as such also had the dlc extra story which was a pay for download on ps3 unless of course this isnt just a straight port.

It's a good game but what killed it for me & my son was the loading times. Interesting to see how it is on the Switch though.
Not getting it - I hear it'll be out on the PC & will probably be a lot cheaper, so that'll do me.
Will wait for this on X1 and the Switch to be lower. £37 is crazy.

The PS4 and Xbox One aren't exactly lacking remasters this generation, halo, gears of war, uncharted.
Of course they're working on the next console. MS and Sony would have done the same, actually in their cases, they started on beefing up and making the originals smaller.
I now own a Switch, PS4 Pro and an Xbox One. So not a rabid fan boy

Having played this on the Wii where its solid and costs £15 I suggest you dont waste your money and get it on the Wii U
Similar title, but a different story and game. 'The Chase Begins' is the prequel to the Wii U & Switch title.

I'll probably buy it again although when it's below £30. Cracking game and I'd get it again for the portability factor and playing co op with my daughter. Also improved loading times
