Obviously this has been posted numerous of times before but I think it's worth mentioning again given that the launch of Nintendo Switch is imminent.
It has been confirmed that eShop credit can be used across 3DS/Wii U and Switch.
At £22.79 it's roughly about 9% discount off the original price, so you should take this into account when you buy game download code from other merchants(e.g. Amazon) and most likely it would be cheaper to buy from Nintendo eShop instead (if you don't mind having some leftover credit for future purchase)
UPDATE: You can now merge your 3DS/Wii U eShop funds with your Nintendo Network Account.: https://ec.nintendo.com/my/#/

It's quite rare to find discounted credit as well, not many seem to do it

These dodgy stores that get codes and cdkeys using shaddy methods often have discounted credit. that's their biz since they are not official.

Come Friday I think I'll use these to buy Zelda and the Mario Kart.

Sorry to be useless, but I've never had any luck with these CDKeys deals.
I've 'Liked' their Facebook page but the extra 5% off never seems to show up for me. Should I get a code from somewhere? Can someone describe exactly how these deals work?
Nice post, btw. Thanks.

On their facebook page, there's a link on the left bar which will bring you to the page with 5% code.
You'll then need to register an account on cdkeys.com and then log in before you can apply the code to your cart.

Zelda DLC is £17.99, so a bit spare for something from the back catalogue.

I didn't say Mario Kart is released Friday.

CD keys might get the Zelda Season Pass themselves down the road, so unless you really want the Link Switch in game shirt or bonus chests i'd personally wait.
I paid £36 for the game so i'm finding it hard to rationalise spending £18 on the DLC.

And just to be clear, you 'Like' the FB page, but I believe have to use a desktop browser to see the link on the left of their FB page that says "Click here to get 5% off", which will ask for your email address iirc. Then you'll see the promo code.

The Nindies showcase yesterday was fantastic. It was exactly what Nintendo needed to do, their hope is that they can fill out the release schedule between big first party titles with indie stuff. I was pretty shocked to see such a huge variety and number of games, all of which are due this year and some of which are exclusive.
So yeah, I'll be picking up some eShop credit!

Bought this last week to renew my PokeBank subscription and have the rest leftover for Snipperclips  I imagine CDKeys will sell out of these on Friday.
Wargroove looked absolutely fantastic and hopefully it sells enough that Nintendo look at doing another Advance Wars.

Thanks for replies - I've got the code now. I must have been looking on my mobile previously.
They're also selling snipperclips for £15.95 (after the 5% discount). It's not quite as big a saving (£2.05 vs £2.21) but it might work out better for anyone who isn't likely to use the extra credit

They oversold stock apparently. I've had to cancel 2 of my orders.
