Rip off Britain is totally irrelevant. That's the price, either buy it or leave it. We have an I'm alright jack government, voted in democratically. Big business relies on the total indifference of UK citizens to all but themselves. Hence they get away with anything they want because they know( empirically) the Brits will do nothing but moan and then vote for exactly the same thing again.
That's the price get on with it.

Amazing card. I had one, but was able to swap it for a Gaming Z. Recommended.

Assuming the $/£ on the 23rd of June it'd be around £566 (incl of 20% VAT). Since the country voted to tank the currency by 17.5% it's corrected to more like like £680. NVIDIA is a US company which trades in dollars, so now the exchange rate is crap we pay more. I'm not sure how brexit is a convenience in this scenario.

Exactly. The £ is up on the $ by around the same % as VAT adds back onto the price so presently the $&£ symbols are interchangeable.

Don't forget VAT
It's £583 pre vat so around $716 , it's the 20% vat that brings the price up

Can't see them dropping that much lower than this, £430/440 lowest I think until a next gen comes out.

You might want to hang on. Nvidia has just announced a $100 - 150 price drop on the 1080 plus a lesser drop on the 1070.

Will we see it though? I was thinking about a 1080Ti which has a RRP of $699 - I think that's going to translate to £699. I might go for an EVGA 1080 SuperClock instead (I have a EVGA 980Ti SC at the moment), but they have dropped about £20 - £30 recently and now sitting at the (USD) equivalent of about £650.
Rip off Britain as usual - Brexit is just a convenience for ripping the UK consumer off as usual.

Pretty sure this is the drop they were referring to.
