When I came home late last night (or was it the early hours of this morning), my wife's face looked like she had eaten the full 1kg!

Great deal, now all I need is a deal on a bunch of grannies. I might go down the old folks home give them all a treat. I've just realised it's eggs I was thinking of, ruined my afternoon that has.

Great but was wondering what to do with so many so squeezed the juice into ice cube trays & frozen. Also jarred the zest & frozen that too. Should be handy for months to come.
Lots of advice online to keep them fresh for as long as poss suggests putting them in a ziplock bag or a bowl of water and store in the fridge.

Ahh... there was an offer for lemons at Morrisons the other day (someone posted it on here), it's not at the one closest to us, like no offer. I was preparing to get loads and have lemons in my drinks... make lemonade... basically squish them on everything I consume. Ace deal!

These were really good lemons! I just thought... yeah lemons. Standard yellow lemons.
But they were some of the best lemons i've ever had  Seriously. Fresh, bright, sharp, and very lemony.

Slice them up and freeze the slices separately then bag up. Great in water for the table and in other drinks. :innocent:
