Wii2HDMI CONVERTER ADAPTER

It's the same as the Wii so works on any games that support the classic controller - the Wii U Pro controller however only works on Wii U games (unless you're using the Wii U for emulation purposes).

Wii standard or pro controller works when connected to the Wii U remote for backwards compatibility, right?

It was some time ago, a generic one, white, 4.99, just looked on ebay, plenty of them there, but take a look around you tube and the likes for reviews of them, some people love them some have issues with the sound, not something i have myself.
But do not buy aything but the cheapest one, they are all generic versions regardless of any name or logo printed on them, and they all do the same job.

4.99 on ebay, at that price worth a punt, i use mine on a 60in plasma and it beats my previous component connection in sharpness and colour depth, and no more analogue noise on my picture, nice sharp pic, best i have seen produced from my wii, i had a Wii u and that gave the best wii picture above all, but i sold it simply because there was nothing on it, so this to me gives me the best possible picture i could get from the wii.

Not much, if you have decent component cables already stick with them.

If you still have a Wii do yourself a favour and get one of those wii2HDMI thingys from ebay, a few quid, well worth it, makes wii and gamecube games look like they did on the Wii-U via HDMI.
