My last pre-order with them arrived the day after release but with Simplygames it arrived the day before release so definitely the better option.

Mass Effect 2 is one of my all time favourite games. The footage i have seen so far of MEA looks like the the game has been made by a bunch of childish SJW's!
Still good price for the pre-order.

how? i've tried to keep away from any spoilers and trailers etc. but i do remember people say the same thing about the last dragon age and i liked that.

just look at the female characters they have shown so far they are all Ugly/manly looking, also i was watching a side mission and some of the dialog was so lame and childish.

Graphically, Andromeda looks superb but I'm going to wait for the reviews before I decide whether to buy it or not

Also same price at The game collection if anyone interested... Although no mention of DLC.

I love ME, but I agree with others, I would hold off pre-ordering this. What we have seen of the game so far hasn't looked great, best to wait for the reviews

Do you pay on dispatch or when ordering? Thanks

According to the website:
Payment for order will be captured when we dispatch your items unless your order was placed more than 28 days before the official release date. In this case your payment will be captured within 21 days of your order placed.
NOTE: Although we DO NOT immediately capture the transaction, some banks reflect the value of the order against your available balance immediately. In this case we have not actually captured the payment; the bank have merely 'reserved' the funds for us. This process is perfectly normal and is referred to as 'pre-authorisation'.

They will ring fence the funds for about a week but the money will then appear back in your account.

Same as. I've sent them a message saying it's cheaper on other sites and they said they would review the price.

I'm holding off, I've been around long enough to know to never buy an EA game until at least 6 months after release.
From previews so far I was hoping for something a bit different to the last mass effect considering its a different galaxy, just looks the same. Hope they haven't done a fifa on us :disappointed:
I should have bought a ps4, at least they have horizon zero.

My gut instincts is telling me that I won't like this game. I loved ME2 though, easily the best one in the last series. I want to hold back until reviews start coming in

can you put your finger on why? I'm so stoked for this game, but a lot of people are making the same noises as you, combat looks very similar to the original games - mainly ME3, I do have some concerns about bullet sponges, which is never fun when it's consistent, I'm not bothered about wither the female characters look good or not (wtf??), I want the combat and the amazing story and I'll be happy. It looks really good graphically IMO.

Didn't bf1 have huge performance issues on the ps4 pro and PC. Plenty of their other games were released in a shocking state.

Bf1 is one of the best optimised games I've ever played, for how good it looks it's runs amazingly, same with Battlefront, and that was on release day. Performance on consoles is never going to be fantastic owing to the terrible CPU's that can't handle 64 players, no amount of optimisation will be able to overcome that.
What EA games have been released in a shocking state out of interest. The EA games I've played on PC tend to run well.

Usually my strategy too, but I've waited 4 years since ME3 to play the next installment, I've treated myself to the pre-order, something I NEVER do. This and GTA would be the only exceptions. Proper rip off too on PSN. But I get it on day of release and I know I'll get hundreds of hours of entertainment out of it - so better value than the price of a 2x football tickets I think!

I have to wonder how old you are when you say ps4 gpus are terrible and never going to be fantastic. I don't mean offense, PS4 and xbox one have wonderful graphics, that are comparable to a PC at the same price point, there is nothing wrong at all with the graphical performance of either console this generation, they are pretty darn realistic. I ask the question of age as I wonder if you've ever played a ps1, or a snes, or a megadrive, or hell, my first console - an atari 2600, we're in the golden age of consoles my friend!
p.s I'm primarly a PC gamer, custom watercooling the lot....

Yeah, I tend to avoid psn prices like the plague. There is just something about Andromeda that I don't like and I absolutely loved the first three. Anyhow, I'm currently tucked up with Breath of the Wild for the foreseeable future

Do simply games take payment straight away? if paying by debit card.

I paid via PayPal and the funds have been on hold for 4 days which means I can't access that money. I think they stay on hold until the game is dispatched. Rather annoying but I loved ME2/3 and I believe this game will be worth it.

Read my comment again. I said CPU. 64 player Battlefield absolutely crunches it, and the ones in the consoles are very weaksauce.

Anyone know if SimplyGames send UK copies? I've had to stop using The Game Collection, despite how good their service is, due to them sending EU copies of certain games that aren't compatible with completed game saves of games I've re bought for DLC (Fallout 4, Witcher 3)

Reviews looking decidedly shakey......For a AAA game.
Got it yesterday (thanks to whoever said simply deliver a day early sometimes) and played it literally all last night, sure there's some glitches and a pretty terrible (for a game that cost so much and was being made for so long) lack of polish when It comes to some of the animations during cutscenes and some anomalies about your Ai companions disappearing and reappearing elsewhere or acting odd, and the frankly weird way that if you're physically facing a person or audio log but spin the camera away the volume drops.
All that being said, it's still pretty interesting, looks like there's a ton of stuff to do and while the characters aren't the most engaging so far people are comparing them to characters in me3 that you had 3 games to build up, this is a new start and from the (very early) impressions it's going the right way even if the roads pretty bumpy.
That being said, it may well be worth waiting for some patches and or a price drop of you're not desperate to get stuck in to the next chapter

played it for 3 hours. turned off, back to Zelda. what a let down, the animations are embarassing poor Vs even the old Mass Effects which were superb.
can't believe they've dropped such a complete lemon with this.
