Marks and Sparks have a meal deal running from 1 march - 7
The deal is for any 2 gastropub mains, 2 sides and 2 desserts for £10
I know there's no free wine but the meals look better quality in my opinion.

M and S meat is the best quality, so no real reason to want Veggie..
The Pork is very Juicy.. I must admit.
I'll get my coat..

Yummm, the Gastropub veggie option is to just *Do One*, it's like being back in the 1980's all over again!

my mum got this deal this week in M&S - check the dates on the packets tho, some of hers were eat by that day and some by the following day - no idea how many times I have advised her to check the dates (and see if stuff is suitable for freezing)

Even in their regular £10meal deal, their vegetarian options are as bad as their clothing range. Tesco at least make an effort with these £10 deals.

I much prefer the dine in when there is the option of steak or a whole chicken. Apart from the fish and chips, all of these have gloopy sauces to disguise the small amount of meat ( the most expensive ingredient).

Yes it's 1 x Dessert (which is a twin pack of course) but 2 x Sides which is nice.

Looks like a good deal but OP, it should be one dessert, not two  looking forward to trying!

the fish pie is excellent, and I thought the root vegetable parmentier is really tasty.

I saw these - each main serves 1 but the sides enough for two to share and it was one dessert to share - some decent choices though!

Don't go for the Empire Pie. I have never eaten anything so greasy in my life. I was physically sick and had to take the next day off work. I eat all sorts of junk food as well, but this was just terrible.
