Part of the Argos Baby Event. MAM Anti Colic baby bottle starter set was £99.99 now reduced to £25.99 Plenty of stock around in the areas I checked and still available for home delivery which is usually a good indicator of stock. Loads included in the set and it has really good reviews - 4.9 out of 5 so near perfect out of 38 reviews. They are also self sterilising bottles so really handy of you are out and about as they just need 3 minutes in the microwave and you are ready to go.
Market research and medical studies have found that MAM's vented base reduces colic symptoms in 80% of babies that used them and that 94% of babies accepted MAM teats.
You get -
Three 130ml MAM anti colic bottles.
Three 160ml MAM anti colic bottles.
Six 260ml MAM anti colic bottles.
Two MAM medium flow teats.
Six MAM sealing discs.
One MAM hold my bottle handle.
One MAM soft spout.
One MAM start 0-2M soother.

Although dispatched in 1-4 weeks, Amazon have this at £19.99. Either way, both prices are great for this set.
Thanks for the suggestion looks good! Will definitely try it...

this is off the topic but can anyone suggest me a good sippy cup or water bottle for an 18 month old...I'm really struggling to buy a good quality one that does not leak...I have bought tommee tippee ones and Nuby but my son doesn't like them...the one he likes leaks alot and he ends up soaked in water! Any suggestions
good to know as i picked them up last night

We do exactly the same, these work a treat.

had someone tell me the flat teats on these don't work well if you are mixing breastfeeding and bottle feeding due to completely different shape than nipple, anyone tried these for this purpose? I've got some reserved for click and collect this afternoon. heat added

what do they think happens to a nipple once it's against roof of baby's mouth?!
don't listen to them ... I successfully combi fed with a bottle a day for over 8 months and then baby happily moved onto these full time. a friend went through about 5 or 6 different brands of bottle before her daughter successfully took these when trying to wean off the breast.
every baby is different but I've only ever heard positive things about these bottles

We've been combination feeding our 2 month old since birth with these with no problems at all. Breast feeding mainly with a bottle now and then to top him up when needed. Takes the bottle no problem with no colic. I can feed, burp and settle within 45 minutes (some times!).
These bottles have been a godsend and are highly recommended. We don't own a steriliser at all.

So many good reviews! wish I wudve found about these last year as my son was colic and I kept on changing milk rather than bottles!

Excellent bottles, we switched from Tommee Tippee closer to nature to these when our son was around 12 weeks.

What a bargain. Two packs (4) medium flow teats alone are £10!
Although I'd expect that there'd be two slow flow teats, and two medium flow teats?

we got these on sale through Amazon. LG won't take anything else, once we found she took the dummy out of this set we bought more of the same. 5*.

I think they mean that u just need the bottle itself rather than a steriliser

Ahh ok I see, thanks. Still, 'easy to sterilise' or 'microwave sterilise' would be a more appropriate name/description. Self sterilise....

This is a great set - been using them for my 4 week old since she was born. Good price too, especially since you dont need to buy a seperate steriliser.

No these are the only bottles as far as I'm aware that can be sterilised without a steriliser. Very good when you're at parents or relatives you just need a microwave and some water

22 Mar 17#23
No these bottle are fantastic. They are able to open from the bottom where you add 30ml of water and put the teat and bottle on top lightly closed and pop in the microwave for 3 minutes.

What's the sealing disk?
emribena to yas212
22 Mar 17#22
For when you make up a bottle to take out - it seals the bottle bit like a cap before you put the teat on to feed the baby

You can put the bottles in the microwave for 3 minutes to sterilise them.

Yes, somewhat misleading! You could call any bottle self sterilising by their definition, you just need to put it in the stereliser for 3 minutes.

Love these bottles. Only discovered with boots parenting club and would recommend to everybody. Saves time sterilising and money as you don't need to buy a steriliser

These MAM bottles are very good. The anti-colic feature works really well by dispersing any trapped air from the bottom of the bottle. My baby was born 5 weeks ago 6 weeks premature, he is finishing his feed within 10 minutes and does not suffer from colic. In the neo natal unit the hospital used NUK anti-colic teats, it was taking 90 minutes to finish 1 feed. As soon as we switched to the MAM bottles my son was feeding very quickly. I recommend these bottles.
Thats a great price. Thank you
Only downside of these bottles is that they tend to leak if used straight after washing in warm water. Need to cool them down first.
