Yes I think MPD have got the wrong information in their initial description. The 3GB version is exclusive to Amazon.

no its the 3gb read description on link. quote...
The G series is without a doubt the most popular of all the Motorola Smartphones on the market, and it's clear to see why in their latest Moto G5. The G5 is a reliable, easy to use Smartphone which gives users an all-round great experience of Android. Browse the internet and social media on 4G while enjoying a variety of apps thanks to the Snapdragon 430 processor. There's also 3GB of Ram and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD Card. The 13MP camera is upgraded to a much crisper image than previous models and has more advanced options in within the photo app. This is most apparent on the front-facing 5MP camera which allows you to take the perfect selfie. The 5.0-inch display is the perfect size, slight more compact than last year's 5.5", so you can enjoy online video content or watch back your recorded HD videos in 1080 x 1920 pixel quality

Good phone, but no band 20 support (800mhz)
- no 4g for O2
- Poor coverage in remote areas, for all networks
- Poor indoor coverage, for all networks

Have you got one? I was going to, but you needed to root and flash it to get Google play. Seemed that would void the warranty and the roms are buggy. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I did a little research and decided against it. Went for a redmi 4 prime and am happy as with it.

I did indeed post it, title here is a mistake, this is a 2GB of RAM. anyhow, the 5 plus is the one to go for... gonna have to wait or buy in Germany... I had the Honor 6X in my hands in Berlin yesterday, hate the UI, the camera is capable but tried the S7 camera and it is miles ahead so if it is the same camera as specs announced the 5plus will be one hell of a phone.

if you are after a Honor 6X note that they have them in store at mediamarkt and Saturn stores in Germany and can order from them for not so much more money...

Only cat 4 Lte speed due to old cpu /modem . Snapdragon 820 has cat 12, and snapdragon 835, cat 16. So not for me.

The real world speed of networks in the UK is anything up to i'd say 80mb - This is a general consensus some users may get more but for the most part that is the average max. Cat 4 (150) will not be saturated any time soon for the vast majority of users.

Lost faith in Moto after my daughter's Moto X Play went all strange. Stopped showing notifications when she received messages etc, swiping down for the toolbar showed that most options had disappeared, and whenever *anyone* tried to call her, they just got a 'busy' tone. Did a factory reset once, cleared things for a bit, but not long after, it returned to its previous state. If anyone else experienced this, please let me know if you fixed it and how! We've been left with a pretty useless, half-functioning phone.
hi, they emailed a couple of days ago, to let me know the actual delivery date had been moved forward to 21st. I have Prime next day delivery service. when I just checked my account now, it shows it will arrive tomorrow.
Typical HUKD, Moto G at RRP where people aren't even sure what the specifications are gets voted scorching hot. SMH.

Has there ever been a MotoG deal posted on HUKD where there is no confusion about the amount of RAM or no of Sims?

I've done a lot of googling so may have looked on there without knowing it, but I'll check it out, many thanks for the pointer, much appreciated
