Hi I'm just wondering if anyone else has been charged international debit card purchases fee? When I've only paid 44p for the game ?

I have, just noticed. I was like WTF! Nothing on the site stating international payments. Little scammers!

That’s just one person there will always be one or two that have problems, no reason they would shut my account I bought them legally and paid by PayPal, any problems I will claim the money back via PayPal, they all activated fine, I have had more problems via Steam with games not activating, I also made sure they had large amount of feedback from the sellers.

Again, *please* read my sources. EA de-activated Far Cry 4 keys that people had bought "legally", paid with through PayPal, sellers with good feedback. Good luck getting PayPal to refund you when you're caught with illegal keys.

I've bought 5 keys from Kinguin over the past year or so and not had any problems.

All for £8.36, I included the payment protection.
sold on kinguin ...BY WHO... is the point
the whole point is its kinguin doesn't sell anything - you are buying from a seller
the seller is the one allowed here and by feedback
if the keys fail then feedback goes down and/or we hear and they become disallowed
not saying i agree but that its basically like ebay and amazon marketplace

Reddit isn't a single entity with a single opinion. The /r/gamedeals sub is a well-moderated subreddit with fully-explained rules. It does not allow discussions about piracy. Nor do I feel that Reddit in general approves of pirating games. The Steam Sale is basically a cult over there.

Sorry but that's completely missing the point. A specific seller's feedback does not indicate whether they have obtained their keys in a way authorised by the publisher. I'm sure I'd have good feedback if I resold Eastern European keys for a third of their price on the UK Steam store, but they could still be deactivated at any point later in time.
Reddit's /r/gamedeals sub has banned Kinguin, and I suggest that HotUKDeals does the same.

the point of allowing kinguin isn't to allow every seller but only those established sellers with very high feedback
the deal isn't really kinguin - its eplay here
just the same as amazon marketplace and ebay - some sellers with feedback are allowed but not every random scumbag

Totally agree. Even if 44p is not much of a risk and even if Kinguin is considered a legit site by HUKD, that doesn't mean all KInguin's key sellers are legit.

This game is a poor man's Dark Souls. Much cheaper but not as good.

would of gotten it for 8p as i got some points to spend but payment keeps getting blocked
These are likely keys that came from a Humble Bundle, so whoever obtained them is unfairly gaming the Humble Bundle system.

Has it been patched? Horrid reviews about game crashing on PC platform, still 44p, worth a risk.

If the key is from the G2A bundle (seems likely!) then it'll need to be activated before April 1.

Yes, we'll look at the sellers firstly much like we do with Amazon sellers, eBay etc and judge them on a individual basis

this surely isnt a blanket acceptance of the company?
but rather of individual sellers of good feedback on the platforms?

I had to play "Which payment method doesn't charge me much" bingo but the PaymentWall powered Credit Card one worked ok and charged 2p as opposed to 30+ that most other methods did.

Look at http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-01-28-deactivated-ubisoft-game-keys-bought-from-eas-origin-using-stolen-credit-cards for example - Far Cry 4 keys were bought with stolen credit cards, sold on Kinguin, and then deactivated. I don't fancy being involved in buying stolen goods or supporting that kind of industry.

Anyway, Kinguin is not a good site (see https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/4lfmty/warning_dont_buy_anything_from_kinguin_details/), the keys could be voided at any time. Disappointed that HUKD allows them to be posted.
