The grey one was delivered, fitted it myself, wasn't too bad! Will be doing a wash run today.
What's the quickest way to wash soiled goods? I was hoping the manual would have shedded some more details on the programmes etc

Can anyone give me the actual physical width of this machine I have a very tight space for it to go in.
I know it says 60cm but is it actually 60cm wide and not 59.5?

Just measured the top of mine and it is 59.5, the gap mine is in is 62cm

I bought it, got delivered yesterday evening, only done 2 washes but used the turbo wash and both took about 70mins, not small washes either. I did run a cotton wash with nothing in first as recommended in the manual and that took 90mins

My washing machine of 10 years (Zanussi, no single problem) is going strong. But I know I am pushing my luck hence looking for a new one. Husband now wants the graphite Samsung as it would match the fridge. Sigh, why didn't he say so, when I showed him the deal?! Now expired :disappointed:

Is this one any better than samsung's wf90f5e5u4x? I mean to wash things, not to connect to internet and such.
On currys website is states that LG takes 5 hours (300 mins) to complete a 60 degree 9 kg wash?!

where on there did you see that, I could only see this information
WASHING TIMES
60° wash time 99 minutes
40° wash time 96 minutes
30° wash time 91 minutes
20° wash time 91 minutes
Quick wash time 14 minutes for 2 kg
though that doesn't state the weight, I nearly bought the Samsung one that was on offer last week but wanted this one for the shorter wash times, it also has turbo wash which they claim reduces the cycles to around 60 mins

I tried very hard, but could not find a single washing machine on petertyson website http://petertyson.co.uk/ And Curry's price comes down to £369 with the code.

Ordered for around the same amount in August last year, had no issues and don't expect to. Good machine, but the short wash DOES NOT take 14 minutes... More like 40 minutes...

It says 14 minutes for 2 kg load...

They must have changed that on curry's website, but on the LG product page there is a link to product fiche http://www.lg.com/uk/washing-machines/lg-FH4U2VCN2# and it says 300 mins at 60 degrees a full load. Samsung ecobubble takes 4 hours respectively...

Do Curry's sell houses now? Wow they really are branching out!

I would never buy anything, unless you can physically pick it up and take it to a store for return, from curry's, they are the worst.

I doubt you can physically pick a washing machine up so...

Got the silver version and it's brilliant. You have to use turbo wash to use shorter times.

Looking at the specs, the silver one seems to use 3x the amount of water and takes longer to wash.

Had a similar model LG for a few years in until we had the kitchen done and switched to an integrated washer dryer. Superb machine and really quiet due to the direct drive. :man:
