I'm conflicted as was going to buy a ks8000 or 7000 but instore the picture on this and the Sony xd93 although not as bright looked more realistic. Also a review on this TV states banding can be seen sometimes during football which worries me despite an av forums recommend. Just to add Sony xd93/94 sets qualify for premium uhd but Sony chose not to use the logo.

Yup, and plenty of owners complaining about the set. Put this LG next to the samsung or sony and there's no way TN with a straightface can say the LG is better. Guessing we won't hear from them again though now they've read up on things.

They are correct about not being UHD Premium and that's a big problem given it's price point is firmly in the premium bracket with the Samsung 55KS7000 which is premium certified selling for £899 it would be fair to say this is overpriced.

If you can find another couple of hundred down the back of the sofa you can do a lot worse than this
