Don't forget to send it back if you don't get the icing

Shouldn't it be 21:9 for cinema.

I've been looking for an IPS monitor with decent reviews for image quality, VESA mounts, DVI and HDMI, and no speakers/slim bezel. This seems to tick all the boxes so ordered - thanks.

explain please?
Its a 23" IPS monitor with cinema screen and reduced from 134.99, looking at the three camels, this is the lowest price on Amazon. I have ordered it so a perfect deal for me.

Is this a good monitor for console gaming? or is there better ones for a similar price, looking for good picture quality and decent response time.

Be advised this monitor suffers from vertical lines reproduced on blue, green and orange colours. This is especially visible while running at 75hz (with freesync on) on my model.
I'd be interested to hear if any of you who buy this monitor experience the same issue. It could well be an isolated issue with a batch of units sold last year.

In non-marketing terms 'cinema screen' is what? A low brightness setting or something?

The CINEMA SCREEN Design translates the latest advances in LG’s display technology into an aesthetically superior form. Bezels that surround the new CINEMA Smart Monitors have been slimmed down to negligible levels, removing physical obstructions to allow greater immersion of 3D effects, reminiscent of movie screens at cinemas

hot for freesync! trying to find out frequency range.
Have two of these, been using these for around 4 months. Everything is great so far, although I had one exhibit a more yellower hue which was corrected through the panels colour options so now both are matching.
Since this is Freesync over HDMI, if your card only has 1x HDMI port (like my R9 390) I can confirm that you can use an active DP -> HDMI adapter and then use ATI Pixel Unlocker to unlock the 75Hz option in the Windows refresh rate options.
If anyone has any questions, I'll try my best to answer!

I bought one of these a few months ago and am well pleased with it. Don't have the 75hz problem referred to above.
Here's one of the reviews that convinced me to buy it -
My case was based on if people were planning to use a dual monitor setup like I have done. Didn't make it clear in my post.

I have the same issue at 75hz, but it's not particularly noticable and after while you get used it.
Excellent monitor for the price, however this isn't much of a deal as it's been this price for about 6 months and a quick search found it for the same price elsewhere.

But taking the link to LG from there:

Can't see it mentioned in those specs.
EDIT: but 40-75 on the Freesync monitor list
