SDXC is supported by every device on the planet that has a hole for it and was released in 2017. Never write this nonsense again.

You are not arguing your case very well.
You wrote that Nintendo Switch did not support SDXC card. If you asked anyone, this sentence could be interpreted in only one way, given the context. That out of other memory card standards SDXC was the one that was not supported.
What you meant to say, was that the memory card slot was disabled.
You are not making yourself a favour continuing to argue and trying to imitate my criticism.

I'll just repeat what I said. The standard was released in 2009. Quite obviously not all devices support SDXC, like for example many devices that were released prior to the standard being released.
Regards your general tone, you sound like you have some personal issues you need to resolve. The word despicable is hardly a word that's appropriate for this conversation. Maybe if we were talking about Middle East dictators or something but otherwise it's a bit overly dramatic, like you're trying to create a scene.

It looks like the Nintendo Switch does accept microSDXC according to their website.

I got a 128gb a few months back for around £25. So it's not bad value, and it's a good speed class.

If you use it in a camera that only takes full sized sd cards, will the adapter create much slow down to the save process?

As far as I can tell the adapters just have wiring to the pads. I've not noticed any degradation when using them.
But someone else may know better.

This is UHS-1, so the price is okay but nothing special. These cards do get pretty good reviews from what I recall though.

I read that the port to enable the use of memory cards was not activated yet and would need to be via an update that would happen to be around the same time as Nintendo launched its branded memory cards here in the UK. That is why no game over the actual internal memory size (32GB around 25GB with OS on it) has been released on the dashboard.

There is a best buy by Toshiba. Exceria m302r..... 64 gb, uhs1, but increased speed with 90mbps, good reviews, around 17quids. 7dayshop.com
Having taken them apart, yes it is just a wire to wire connection for the adapters.
It's so annoying that (some) adapters are so tempermental when they are just passive connections. Good idea to keep one or two from a few different brands just to be safe if you often need to adapt to a full SD slot...

Yes just checked and day one patch sorted this issue , wow am used to having to wait ages for a fix - fair play.

8 Mar 17#24
Obviously you have no idea what I am referring too -just because there is a port doesn't mean that is enabled.
The port on the Nintendo switch for the memory card was dispatched disabled and could only be used once a patch was released , so please never write about something you have no clue about.

You've not the slightest idea what your'e talking about. That's despicable. Any card over the size of 32Gb is SDXC (or micro SDXC) as well as some smaller ones. Any decent brand device, not talking about a talking toothbrush from a "farmer's market" will support that kind of card in 2017. So they all support SDXC despite you knowing so little.

Technically, that's true but you're really talking about very old devices / cameras that might have a compatibility issue. For a 2017 Nintendo Switch (or indeed, anything released in the last few years), there really shouldn't be a problem.
