I have the 8"inch screen version which has 2GB memory and 16GB storage, its a fantastic device and was £79 reduced from £99, but I wouldn't say the one I have is worth twice as much as this deal.
As per the comments above its a similar price to the entry level Kindle fire deal which was posted recently. That also has the lower 1GB memory but the Amazon fire OS is awful and limted number of apps available compared to Android (although you can hack it to put normal Andriod OS on it, save yourself the bother and go for the Lenovo).
From my experience Argos refurb products are great, customer returns/nearly new/damaged box etc, "as new" condition often.
