I know but part of giving an Easter egg is the gift and novelty value of it also. imagine the kids faces when you give them a multi pack of mars bars or such like at Easter rather than a one of these Lion head or Yorkie digger eggs, suspect there are very few kids that would care about the better value at that point.

A good deal for easter eggs, but it still works out at about £1/100g, which isn't cheap for chocolate. Easter eggs are a rip off. Or you're paying a lot for the packaging.

You are paying for packaging and transportation, you can't carry as much in weight as you can in bars of chocolate.

Cheap chocolate all you will get is a sore throat from the large amount of sugar especially from Mars bars and Yorkie bars, I make my own now from high coco content Aldi chocolate and add things like hazelnuts, sultanas etc. Made one from Aldi's rum and raisin.....nice, keeps the kids entertained too.
