I know it's a lot of money but their stuff is great quality.

Yes indeed. I think the trick is to consider the cost per wear factor. A coat like this will last at least 10 years and being a classic style will not go out of fashion.
Some of my worst investments have been buying cheap rubbish and some of my best buying more expensive items. Especially with staple pieces - worth buying quality. Also these are really warm, apart from fur or those huge down filled coats, a sheepskin is one of the warmest materials.
