@Boringgit
You are right. Damn, just checked my downloads. Its ebook only. Additional £8.49 for the narration.
I have upgraded some books to whispersync before (£3.50) but not that price
Cheaper to take out an Audible subscription - £7.99/mth !!

I stumbled across something whilst searching for an author, on some of the free ebooks they say they come with a £1 A/V credit. So I've just downloaded a few of them and I'm now wondering if the promotional credit will be applied. Which is of course some easy free money if it does. Does anyone know if this loophole actually works?

There can easily be confusion about Whispersync. Originally, it was used to describe the syncing of the reading position on content between two or more devices, such as an actual Kindle device and the Kindle app.
Now it describes the ability to read the book and also listen to an audio book and have the two sync so that they also tie up, position wise.
That only works, though if you buy the additional Audible Audio Book and in my experience they are always at least £3-5 per title even after the discount.
As far as the 99p books go, well that is hardly new as Amazon always have a promotion of this sort going on, just with varying titles and quantities.
Sorry OP, but because of your misleading title and description which suggests the audible & kindle copies are available as a bundle for 99p, and because this sort of offer is always on, it's cold from me.

Not trying to be a kill-joy for anyone... but I recently reverted back to paperback tangilble books, if only because I like having them on my shelf as a decorative reminder. Of course, I mostly source my books from charity shops (with the odd purchase from Amazon on occasion).
