Eek we had to eat those breads for about a month when the wife got fanatical about healthy eating- dark days! :disappointed:

IMHO this stuff is great for toast (especially the thick) but I'm not allowed to buy it cuz we must have wholemeal or granary bread with bits in. :disappointed:

I was lured into Iceland under false pretenses! I went to get some Kingsmill Thick sliced bread but when I arrived there the poster offer was for medium bread only!!! The thick bread was £1 or 2 for £1.50. What's going on Iceland , what's going on???

Funny how most of the comments criticising this bread don't realise that the preservatives have already addled their peanut brains!
IMO the best everyday bread that doesn't turn into a soggy mess or go stale quickly is Aldi Best of Both and which is always 45p
And the best for white sandwiches is Hovis Farmhouse.
Irrelevant of my opinion or anyone else that quite clearly doesn't know what they are on about - this and Hovis is very unlikely to ever taste stale - always appears "wet" to me.
Good deal for branded loaf and much cheaper than the other major stores.
Just get the Aldi one everyday and save 10% lol

Wholemeal loaf has nice malty taste, cracking cheese sarnies.

Apart from bloomer bread/ some form of proper bread, I can't stand white bread, too tastless.

i find most bread is terrible these days,a fresh loaf that goes rock hard in 2 days is bread, most of these loaves that last a week make me question alot of things lol

Better than Supermarket own brands which also retail around 50p , so no complaints from me at this price . Can't really understand why others are so critical at 50p per loaf , there are better brands out there but twice the price .
