Just seen this Hotpoint Aqualtis 9Kg Washing Machine with 1400 rpm on ao.com for £269 which seems a decent price-code TENNEROFF takes it to £259
I was able to get free delivery tomorrow if I chose anytime for it being delivered but depends on date/time you choose
Also doesn't include collection of old machine or plumbing in the new machine-these services are extra
Top cash back are currently offering 10.5% on cash back
Seems to have decent reviews

wouldn't buy anything hotpot. Absolute rubbish stuff and the way they handled the dangerous driers I'd stay well clear.

If this is making your clothes dry something has gone terribly wrong!

Till they recall it again due to cutting corners on safety and get caught out again!

Triggers broom springs to mind!! Had mine about 6 yrs it's had a new control board, 2 new door rubbers, 2new drums, lost count how many times the brushes have been replaced, 3 pumps a new soap drawer and the front panel where the drawer is it rusted oh and it's stinks! Don't waste your money.

I have filtered out all Hotpoint and Indesit items out of a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge & oven purchase over the last 12 months before even looking at machines.
With the reports over the last year about safety it just is not worth it! get a 5 year warranty with a decent brand and enjoy decent functionality with no stress imo.

These are cheap for a reason, designed with cheap parts and minimal safety. You think your bagging a bargain and you might be until your house catches fire and you have to try and find insurance afterwards........ I'd rather pay one or two hundred more pounds for a better brand which has a better safety rating. Hotpoint/Beko/Indesit/Whirlpool AVOID!!!

I've heard many bad things about the Hotpoint Aqualtis. I've had the washer/dryer version for 8 years, and the only issue so far has been one of the paddles come loose. This was easily pushed back into place and not been an issue since. So I guess it's like most things, luck of the draw.

that's until they tell you it's a death-trap, but they'll claim it's perfectly fine first of course.

never had any major issues with any Hotpoint appliances i have purchased. All have last more than 6 years with lots of abuse/use!
I cant see where you type in any code on the ao website?
also, topcashback are offering 10.5% whereas quidco are offering upto 5%/£25 so TCB are better but be quick as this offer ends today!

My last hotpoint the brick split I thought it was on fire. Had a major fight on my hands every panel was dented they refused to replace. I got there in the end had a Bosch 6 years trouble free. I will never buy another hotpoint product again. Rubbish quality the Bosch is at least 3x the weight good solid machine you buy cheap u buy it twice

Hotpoint is really just a name now, like many other budget brands they have over inflated specs (like drum capacity and speed) leading the things like the drum splitting. I suppose if your careful with them and are not a heavy user they should be ok.

I have a older (about 6yo) hotpoint washer dryer, the only problem I have had is the settings dial becoming misaligned, wish I had gone for the push button digital rather than the dial version.

We were told by an engineer to buy a cheap machine and throw it after a few years as we had had 2 expensive Bosch machines go within 6 years. Bought one of these which has now been going for 8 years without problem. As above, luck on the draw.
