I've seen a few similar deals with key rings etc that have expired but thought this is a good one as it includes DLC (not forthcoming DLC) and Concept Art cards for £39.85.

AAA titles are dropped less quickly now and they are starting from £44 instead of £40.

PSA: This isn't the forthcoming story DLC. It's just a vanity pack with "Nora lookout outfit -- Nora longshot bow -- Nora machine trapper pack"

Waiting for this to hit £30... which could be a while from now.
Heat in the meantime.

Ideally I'd also like it to hit £30 sooner, but with DLC and the quality of the game I'm taking an unusual punt at this price. Not sure about the cards but I guess it's an added bonus if you're a bit of a collector.

It's still worth it at this price. I've probably put around 15 hours in it so far and I'm 40% through.

If you've got a backlog of games then fair enough. I would pay the extra £10 and play now (push this game to the front of the backlog). I had over 20-30 games in my backlog, glad I pushed horizon to the front. 51 hours later I completed it 100% Platinum and it was worth every penny.

My thoughts exactly - wouldn't usually take a risk at this price but with the added DLC and the response to the game I think it's worth it.

Been this price for a few weeks now.. Minus the sackboy figure that i managed to sell on ebay for £15
The dlc is only a bow and outfit which you swap out pretty quickly for a better one after about 5hrs play so not that great.

I pre-ordered on day before release and then had to spend an entire week arguing with them when they didn't send me the art cards and kept coming up with different excuses. Eventually got them but it makes the situation seem worse when they're now offering them to everyone.

Price should hold as it is a decent PS4-only release, like Bloodbourne
Really loving this game. Great story, great gameplay, so gorgeous that sometimes you just stop what you're doing and look around to take it all in. Highly recommend.

Fantastic game. Even if it does make my launch day PS4 and Slims fans sound like they're at full whack.
Anyone find their system is slow to close to the XMB when trying to close the game though? Mine takes a stuttering age sometimes.

Beautiful, epic scale, even the map is gorgeous as it's subtly 3 dimensional! Such old school fun underneath the pretty graphics , simple as

The robots behave like animals/dinosaurs and you have to approach fighting each one differently. Some you can take out with one arrow if you aim properly. Some you'll have more luck tying down using the ropecaster and then digging your spear in. Some are vulnerable to fire damage so you can set them alit with fire arrows. You can set traps too, to lure them in. Some have super weak parts that only show once you've damaged them enough so a hit to that can take them down easy. There are little quick ones, giant double decker bus size ones, some that'll even hunt you if you wander into their territory.
What I'm saying is, there's a lot to it, and it's somehow all REALLY FUN. They've got the difficultly level just right where it's still a challenge, but it won't have you rage quitting like Dark Souls or something. You also level up and get better with your weapons as the game progresses, so machines you had trouble with at the start are easily dispatched once you're a more seasoned warrior.

Gave this to my son for his birthday yesterday. The visuals are amazing and the gameplay looked outstanding. Reminded me of Tomb Raider at the start, which is never a bad thing. Couldn't prise the controller of him tho !!
