+1, I got mine last year for a similar price to this, 4k video via amazon prime / YouTube is very good, I'm thinking of getting a Xbox One S for UHD bluray

How long is the warranty on this?
Would it not be more cost effective to pay £450 at richer sounds and get the 6 year warranty?

I hear it's laggy for gaming. Or you have to set it to "gaming mode" which makes me wonder why it's not set to that all the time. What's the trade off?
Also, there a high risk of dead pixels as AO are supposed to be a pain to return to once box is opened.
Thanks in advance.

According to av forum users it suffers from judder and motion blur during gaming which can be reduced turning certain settings on and off but then you lose picture quality

It's the same model TV, just 55" instead of 50".
I have the 55" and it's amazing for the price. Very well built and an excellent picture on all inputs.
However, not a very good viewing angle. Off centre and the picture gets just a little 'washed out' .

I bought one in the black Friday sale, excellent for ps4 and PC gaming.
Use this as my primary pc monitor, dont do much FPS gaming however fine in fallout 4, far cry primal and gtav.
I got this TV last summer (for almost this price) and I LOVE it (this 50 inch version). 4K looks GREAT (BT Ultra HD footie), Amazon Fire TV (4K Grand Tour looks amazing), HD movies look great, PS4 is incredible... the TV has no issues keeping up. The menus are simple (just the way I like it) and overall I'm super happy with the purchase. Viewing angles would be the only downside of this TV but I'm usually in front of it when watching so not such a big deal. Really good purchase. <3

Can anyone explain the reason for the higher heat on this when compared to the 49" Panasonic with HDR and Ambilight at Argos for £386?
Edit: Seems from comments/reviews elsewhere that an OTA update gives this HDR capability - can anyone comment?

Perhaps it is because it is a slightly larger TV for slightly less money? I don't know about either set, but I'd have thought the answer was self-evident :-)
Staff instore couldn't get it to work, they claim it shouldn't be online either now.

I have this TV and for the price, seriously, you can't go wrong. I paid around £360 for mine from AO.com last year, an unbelievable deal. It does 4k YouTube and Netflix very well, but the HDR as I'm sure has been mentioned, isn't 'proper' HDR as its an 8-Bit panel and doesn't get bright enough. For most people's basic needs though and to take your first steps into 4k, I would highly recommend it and I haven't seen it at this sort of price for a while.
