I went to Richer Sounds yesterday to buy the Hisense 55M7000 4K ULED TV, thinking their price of £699 was great considering their very comprehensive 6 year warranty. When I got there and popped my card into the machine it turned out that the price had been reduced even further to £679 which was a nice little bonus! I know there have been several other deals on HUKD for this TV and some with a price perhaps a bit lower, but for my money you can't beat this deal considering the warranty that comes with it. The staff and advice at Richer was also excellent.

Had three of them all with the same chirping issue. Will maybe purchase when this is sorted. Hisense should have recalled all the November built TVs but they haven't.

I have this TV from JL for over year (5 year warranty), just superb , the best decision have I made, and would recommend it.

What is hdr like on your 55m7000 given the peak brightness is 300. Was told hdr is not worth it unless the peak brightness is 1000.

When JohnLewis (5 year warranty) price match all big competitors it is a risky thing. 1 year warranty for most of the smaller companies that undercut JL and RS isn't worth it for the £50 difference that is commonly is.

In my experience with this TV you are going to need the 6 year warranty unless you are very very lucky.

I think with any TV over 600 quid buying with just a 12month warranty is asking for trouble ,

I was going to get the hisense 58kec730 and that had lots of issues and I was thinking of getting the hisense 55m7000 and that is having issues as well. Plenty of issues reported on avforum.
Hisense is relatively an unknown brand in the UK so with the issues their TV are having, is it better to go for the more known brand?
Is there a hisense m557000 batch that doesn't suffer from any of the issues that people are having.

I bought this tv a month ago and love it, no problems so far .... Touch wood.
I bought it at JL for £699 with free delivery and their 5 year gaurantee. They then price matched for me a week after purchase against Crampton & Moore and refunded me just short of £80 .... Happy days.
Very nice indeed I'm sure my Louise minchin compilation DVD would look great on this ?

Got mine for £629 from JL, be warned there is a fault with a few of these TV sold by JL/ Richer sounds. I think its November Batch that there is a fault with the power supply unit ( makes a clicking noise after its warmed up like a cricket). Very good TV for the money if you get the new batch.

Ooh, thanks for the heads up. No clicking from mine so far (and it's been on quite a bit) so hopefully it's from a different batch.

Glad it's not just mine then! And must not just be JL/RS as mine was from Amazon. Got a replacement arriving tomorrow.

With only a 1 year warranty though and for my money I'd rather have the protection, especially after my LG died with an LED failure that was uneconomical to repair only 2 years after we bought it!
