Had a few sets and found the same.
Now pay more for wera chisel point but they easily last me 4 times longer.
For DIY i suppose you cant go wrong for price though.

Top draw set ...for all the moaners ,take them back and get a refund ,all halford tools have a very good return policy if your not happy .

Didn't know how people are saying these are poor quality, I'm a heating engineer and have used a set of them daily for around a year and they are still going strong , good deal, Hot!

I would have to argue that these screwdrivers are decent quality, even more so when you factor in you get stubbys included and they are really cheap.
I've got slight signs of wear on the Pz2 driver, but it's nothing excessive and I have used them for work for for over 3 years.
I also have a set for home which will probably outlive me with the amount I use them :stuck_out_tongue:

Love Halfords Advanced stuff usually but these screwdrivers are pretty rubbish.

they were doing 2 sets for £7 a few months ago. Bought them at the time. Not bad but tips are soft so they arnt that advanced. Nice grip and great for simple jobs. 2 sets for £7 was just about the right price.

Cold. I do loads of screwing and these are very soft. My other sets, bought elsewhere, are so much harder, and last so much longer.
