Quite a good deal for weekends now the weather is getting a bit more Spring like. Drayton Manor Thomas Land and Zoo tickets on weekends 11 - 12th, 18 - 19 and Saturday 25th March are half price when booked in advance online. Only Thomas Land and the 100 acre zoo will be open so purely aimed at the younger ones but beats paying full price for rides they aren't big enough to go on.
Park opens at 10am with rides starting at 10.30 and then closing at 4pm. If you have really little ones there is free indoor soft play called Emily's Play Area for them too.

Do you have toddlers? I am not too sure they can enter Adventure Island just yet

We went yesterday. It was ok for £15 per adult and out under 2 for free. But not amazing value. The rides had long queues. Friends queued over an hour for the train to go to adventure play park. An hour for a 3 minute train ride! Most rides had long queues.

I'm typing this from this disgusting place. Horribly long waiting times. More shops than the rides. Never ending greed. It's not a good value either as only 25 % of the park open. I read the reviews here n bought tickets. AVOID.

I "purchased" tickets last night for today. Web page said completed but that I would get an email confirmation. I haven't had an email though (not even in spam folder). Has anyone had experience buying tickets and can let me know if this is normal?

I didn't get one last year when I booked 2 days in advance but I took a screenshot of the receipt then it arrived after 24 hours - take the reference number or screen shot if you have if not I'd give them a call on 01827 287979

There's a soft play barn area, lots of rides you go on with them and a train either Thomas, Gordon or Percy that takes you from the Thomas Land area to the Zoo area. Have a look at all the rides HERE and will give you some idea. There are shows and you can get your picture taken with Fat controller etc as well. 18 month old would be free to get it too

No all included in the entrance fee. It's only the Thomas land part and zoo open so no big thrill adult rides included

It is a bit off topic, but can anyone suggest a similar sort of amusement park close to Southend? My daughters are 2.5 and 1.5 years old, so we need something toddler friendly.

Last year you could get a toddle and adult for £18 at the entrance. It worked out cheaper that using Tesco points.
I hope they do the same this year...

We visited Thomas land on Sunday and it was great!! My 4 & 5 years olds loved it. No queuing at all for the rides. A lot of the zoo seemed to be shut off or no animals but that may be because of the weather. But it's well worth the price
