Swap one of your rear inputs to the side or do what most people do and plug into side and velcro to back of tv.

Weighs less than 40 grams.
No different to having a long HDMI hanging.
How often are you behind tv to knock it?
As for looking utterly rubbish, I agree its not the most attractive looking thing but theres no need for it to be visible.

I got mine 2 working days after ordering
@brilly, it's pretty light and doubt it would cause any damage to the socket , it does get hot whenever it's powered on though so I always turn mine off at the wall when I'm not using it

Its better than my 1st gen version that has served me well over the years
But word of warning - I was charged twice, £21 by Wuaki and £30 by Google, even though the statement clearly said that the total price of the transaction was null. So make sure you check your statements...
p.s. Google say it'll be refunded in the next couple of days

Would have voted hot for Chromecast 4k but not for this one. Bought two last year to get free Netflix subscription . Will be selling these on eBay /cex dirt cheap as these are low resolution 2 year old model
DITTO - I cast BT Sport app on my android to TV via Chromecast all the time, Far better than using the BT box. Also better for Catch Up TV and Netflix

The proper casting is blocked :disappointed: you can just cast your phone screen generally though but its not great

if you have use of the BT sport app then yes you can send to your TV via Chromecast. HD quality too! Recommend using a Chromecast, I use the first generation Chromecast myself.

I have tried to use my code to redeem my chromecast for £ 21.99 went on the google strore put the chromecast into the basket tried to redeem the code first time and it said this code can not be used for this item. Second time tried to use it saying you are already used this code . It does not let me to order it . What can i do now ?

From my experience wuaki stop taking orders once stock as depleted but i could be wrong just these deals expire fast when ive bought from them before. but similar deals tend to pop up eventually too
