Had my eye on this for a while and it is now down to the cheapest it has been, what do you think? Where else could i get Shimano 105 for this price range?

Not full 105 but I'm nit picking. Great bike (especially the frame) at a great price. Have some heat.
Brakes, chain, chainset. Still a good deal though in my opinion

Wow they look great although I dont think I stomach the light blue. Where do these groupsets sit/compare to the 105?

just googled it, pretty much the same by all accounts. Thanks

Apex is 4th tier groupset from Sram.
I'm using a mixture of Apex/Rival/Force across two bikes (one is complete Force groupset), and have current 105 on another bike. I've had Sram shifters fail, no failures with Shimano kit in recent years.
Personally at this price bracket I'd go with the Giant.

It was the Campagnolo athena I was comparing when reading a review on bikerader. Turns out its Campagnolo Veloce on this... Still seems better to full carbon? I'm a commuter who likes to do the odd 50miles+ here and there, so I'm jot racing anyone.
£599 same spec i think but the btwin also has the 105 brakes.
this bike has excellent reviews.
I bought mine for £750 and its worth every penny then

That's the best deal, so long as you're under 5'5".

I still think the giant is the best bike mentioned here. Among the best Aluminium frames you can buy. Great saving on the ~£900 RRP.
The b'twin runs it close though.

Great price for this level of kit and a brilliant alu frame.

There's the Triban 540, now only available in XL. Maybe not the same bargain that the remaining 700 is, but £650, mostly 105, also has good reviews. (And if you do need an XL, the Giant is out of stock of that.) https://www.decathlon.co.uk/triban-540-road-bike-105-id_8350480.html

Instead of spending money on this, spend it on training to help make yourself less of a nuisance to other road users :-D

Great deal. Paying more for a standard carbon frame will make little to no difference.

Forme all the way. Great sram gruppo, carbon frame, very decent wheels at this price, and pretty light. At that price, you can't really go wrong.

I'd rather a good aluminium frame than a cheap carbon one, the Giant frame is good if a little heavy. Go via TopCashBack for the chance of 3.45% cashback.
Edit
That Forme does look great value as well though

I've had this bike for 4 years commuting 10ish miles every day and it's been great. Very light for a non-carbon bike. This is a great deal.

Got this bike yesterday (thanks to this deal)as my first upgrade from a basic Halfords special. Looks, feels and rides really nice, for the price I could not find a better option on a 105 bike, just over £16 tcb as well!

Hot, but a shame they only ever reduce road bikes.
