Pineapples 45p @ Aldi
These were supposed to be 65p this week (previously posted as such 9 days ago) , but probably competing with Asda at the moment so reduced down to just 45p.

Wow - thanks for the story. Luckily I am not allergic to latex or anything else - but if I was I'd definitely post on the internet. Maybe someone might say, "poor you" and I'd feel a lot better - apart from the allergies that is.
Hope you have a great day - and avoid anything too sensitive for your skin.
Back to the deal -- seems a good price will have a look.

nice find...love pineapple but I would only buy if someone cleaned it for me as I have sensitive hands and are allergic to latex :disappointed: and they are one fruit that irratate my skin so I stopped buying them few years ago....but heat added as they seem cheapest I've seen

I don't need any one to feel sorry for me because it's part of life...everyone has problems in their life but importantly is how you deal with them...I can still eat pineapple if I want like I can make someone clean it for me or buy the tins..but if you want to feel sorry for someone then think of those people who have no option...

You can buy a really easy pineapple corer and cutter from Lakeland. Means you hardly need to touch it and chops and cores in about 2 minutes.

Thanks OP, will try Hounslow in the morn. Plums look good too (++ wongwing). Got Yellow plums a few weeks back, I think for 95p, tasted twice as nice. Hope cucumbers haven't increased in price again, as they have been creeping up everywhere sadly (I miss the 16 for a £1 from a few years back...)

Hounslow also still had pineapples at 65p, did get the plums at 45p, no sign of the yellow ones :disappointed:
Cucumbers same price, banana's beginning to creep up though...

Thanks for the post we go though lots of these in my house. I try to eat 1/4 of one a day to keep my arthritis at bay. I would do anything to help my pain. Heat from me xxx

Bought a couple for 95p each last week, they are a good size, haven't eaten them yet! These must be smaller?
Also in response to samyyousaf, pineapple and kiwi give me a funny itchy sensation in my mouth that can be quite unpleasant and takes a while to go away. They both contain specific enzymes that break down proteins and thus can literally act on the ones in your mouth and presumably skin too!
