Just slice a tomato, fill a flower put with compost, add the sliced tomato and cover with more compost, give it some water and wait a few days, you should get quite a few plants growing.

I have grown many a tomato plant from seeds from inside real tomatoes - very easy - don't worry about trying to make the seed look good ie to get the glutinous stuff off - just sow the seeds in soil/ pots

reminds me of when I used to cup of a tomato for my dad, and stick the seeds too a tissue, then leave them too dry on the window ledge till that jelly stuff had all dried away :grin:

nonsense deal. why dont they just tell you beforehand that thy have no more seeds rather than make you fill out the form.

They do have more seeds, if you apply early each morning, you have got a better chance before the days allocation runs out. I have made that clear in the OP.

I agree with your point. If you need to fill in all your details to find out there's no allocation left for today it can seem pretty aggravating. They should just post a message beforehand whether there are still seeds available.

Though in future I suggest using Chrome or some other browser's auto complete function. Such a time saver with these things in particular.
