First one was great. The few earlier ones were that awful in a good way and then the ones towards the end really took the biscuit

For a resident evil film I actually thought it was pretty good.
Loving the Reading Showcase appreciation. The revamp is the only reason I'm still working there as a side hustle to my main job as I get free employee tickets each week.
Went to the Vue for a SFF screening of a Monster Calls back in January and even though I sat in the premium seats they just were not comfortable.
Doesn't surprise me that they are losing business to Showcase.

+1 for the reading showcase appreciation society. I wont bother going to another cinema anymore, though I'm not sure if I can be assed to go to a 9:45pm showing

Got tickets for Leicester although my husband thinks I won't like it! We also boast a lovely cinema with a restaurant and bar. How cinemas should be, comfortable and clean with good facilities. we are lucky to also have a really good independent one as well. phoenix.org.uk/ Cinema/arts/cafe bar. :sunglasses:
No word of a lie its an incredible cinema. Never seen anything like it. But you made me reminisce about some of the cinemas I have been too before. Cinemas with popcorn scattered all over the floor, even heard a squeak or two during the movie so the rats were having a field day (watched entire movies with feet resting on top of seat opposite). Price was like £1.50 for any movie any time. Memories eh?!

Saw it last night, it's resident evil; like what do you guys expect though?
Fairly sure you can't sleep through it ...being one of the loudest films I've ever seen
It's far better than I anticipated, mainly due to the colossal explosions and they've managed to move Alice's story along its slow path after 6 films.

And at the opposite end of the scale, the Liverpool Showcase needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. Uncomfortable squeaky seats, no where to put your drink on the arm rest, that's when there is an arm rest or it hasn't come off, can't see screen if anyone over 6 foot sits in front of you. In recent years I've only been when on a SFF freebie, wouldn't pay to go there

Watched 30 mins of it, then fell asleep, and it was a stinker til then but for free, in the best cinema I have ever been to in the world. (I have been to cinemas in Asia, Africa, USA, Europe, Middle East) the Reading Showcase is astonishing for its price, reclining electric seats, spacious, comfort and no I do not work for them.
