Edit: I spoke on Argos's Live Chat and they seemed to confirm the version @ http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5440830 was indeed the Special Edition for XBOX ONE. However I, and many other got sent the standard version. Others reserved it and picked up a Special Edition. It seems to depend on the store & I have got different answers depending on who I talk to (one person claimed this was a website error, another said it was an error with what I was sent).
Day 1 edition same price on Amazon. Same day delivery too on Prime! :smiley:

Same price on Argos on eBay an should get 10% if you order over £30 with the code that's on their eBay page (ends tonight midnight) perfect for me as was wanting to order something else alongside

When you go to Checkout on Argos it only shows it as standard FFXV. Is this still the Steelbook Edition or standard?

I don't know. I ordered it on the off chance as I only have X1 right now, after checking the EAN and Item Numbers it seems the same as the one on eBay which says Steelbook however. Will find out tomorrow.
Edit: I spoke to chat. It's confirmed as the special Edition on XB1 also.

When I went in store to collect mines they gave me the Standard edition I showed them the website and they said they don't sell that edition for Xbox one only PS4, so not sure if you'll get the steelbook or standard edition as this is the second time they've had it down to this price and second time they've gave me the standard edition instead of steelbook obviously I didn't pay for it as I wasn't buying something that was labelled wrong on their website their problem not mines

I got mine today, they send a standard copy. I got the same story as Turtle1992 -when I called they said they didn't stock that version. It seems like it's random luck if the store has that version or not.

I just came back from the Argos next to Asda Hulme Street, they gave me the standard version for PS4. I wanted the special edition, so I refunded that one. That was disappointing.

I was meant to get my replacement on Monday but contacted Argos at 7pm who told me the yodel driver hadn't loaded it onto the van, que surprise! Fingers crossed for tomorrow

In the mean time it's still available on eBay @ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332047711257 (thanks to lasuil) which may be the safer bet (+£2.99 P&P).
