What happens at Level 35? Can you still play but not level up?

You can level all classes to level 35 and do the quests. So yes, you can play with your level 35 character​as much as you want. However, there are few restrictions such as not being able to join a Free Company (guild), use the market board, trade with other players. There is probably more but I can't remember them :stuck_out_tongue:

Wish they would do that for FFXI. I still have an account there dormant but re-log when it's free during a major update.

Quick question, my sub is about to run out, could I use the trial mode on that account to level up other classes a while until I resub?

I tried to login to download the client again... I need a one time password from the android app, I can't setup the security app without a password from the account management page which I can't login to. No sign of sending SMS or email verification code...it's like they don't actually want people to come back to games.

An amazing game.. Definitely one of my favourites and the only game I've ever willingly paid a sub for.

The reason it's survived for so long is because people sub to the game, in turn the money is then used to produce NEW content which new and existing players benefit from. Im a happy subscriber to the game and £9 a month doesn't hurt me one bit. Then again, I have a job :smile:

Not strictly true, you can continue playing (like I have) if you've only ever played the trial and never subscribed before, this also includes people who have upgraded from the ps3 to ps4 version.
