It is one of my most favourite "games". Paid full price. Really didn't expect much, but in the end it was a very clever and emotional journey.

It's not for everyone. Especially people who want high paced running games, for me it was excellent.

​the R2 made no difference (almost nothing). I knew of the R2 from the beginning and it was just so excruciating moving that slowly. Would not have played if I'd have known it would be that frustrating.

I'm sure the slow walking pace was deliberate, as it forces everyone to take a look around and notice the detail, feeling more immersive.

I'm glad there was no run button. It would have spoiled a great game...

Great game, though not really traditional game as such, but a very engrossing story, well told all the same. Good price

People should be aware what kind of game this is before buying.

It's a walking simulator and it's not for everyone, i for one regretted buying this imo it's not even a game it's just a level editor having you roam this small land and there's voices about.

This game (or walking simulator) has the most convincing and detailed world I have seen so far. Yes, it's slow and not for everyone, it doesn't even have any real puzzles, but I for one thought it was very rewarding.

Pretty much sums up my experience of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Its 78% rating on metacritic suggests many others felt the same.

enjoyed it for the most part, but can see why people wouldnt, its very mundane, like typical boring english country life stories lol, the overall story kept me going to the end but i was left dissapointed by the ending. Probably not worth 6.50 in my opinion

But at the end of the day it is a walking simulator - a story is being told and you move to different locations to hear it.
But worth it for the soundtrack!

I got it on plus. Enjoyed it, until I tried to save and found it can't be done manually, and only autosaves at certain points which can be far apart (being deliberately vague to avoid spoilers, Google can explain more). I lost a load of "progress" because of that, and never went back. Forgot I even had it until just now!

Sadly I found it too slow so gave up and played something else with what little time u have to play these days. Looked fab tho and a good price for those that missed the plus offering

Is this as good as firewatch? I loved that type of game.

One of those games that is better for brits - easy to soak up the atmosphere as it all feels very familiar.
One of my 'favourite' experiences. One of the best soundtracks in a game too - listen to the songs after you've 'completed' each area.
Am planning to revisit to do the platinum over the summer, really looking forward to it.

If you don't have this BUY IT. I bought when first released at full price and worth it then.

My wife was watching me play it and called it "The Archers Video Game".

Now they have the setting of a nice quaint village, how about a Hot Fuzz game?
