Just got an email from Barclaycard. First 2 trips on Uber are free. Not sure if its a deal/heads up or Voucher. Never used Uber but handy if you are using it regularly.

• download the Uber app**, create your account and set your Barclaycard (naturally), as the payment method for all rides
• add 'BARC17' as your promotion code before your first trip
• set your pickup location and where you want to go and a driver will come directly to you

Already use Uber?

Great – just make sure your Barclaycard's set as the payment method in the Uber app for all rides. You can track your progress in the app and your £15* credit will apply to your 11th ride automatically.

All offers from Barclaycard are useless for me. Music tickets, and other offers. Sadly, I have been with
Barclays almost 30 years and you are used to them.

Speak to your local police station about how many Uber sexual assaults they've been. I definitely would not be taking the risk. Advise females to steer clear. The UBER company is not as transparent as UK based companies as they do not have to hand any information over without a court order. So if the police have a possible suspect, unless it's concrete evidence, the chances are slim of getting a court order. The tracking of drivers is poor when compared to registered taxi drivers. An UBER taxi driver can choose to not log a journey and carry out an assault. Steer clear. The police are happy to let you know the dangers. Just ask!

The reasons the assault stats are so low is that UBER are unhelpful to say the least and will not pass any information over on drivers without a court order. So a female gets assaulted, she contacts the police, the police check with UBER and UBER request a court order. Court order's are expensive and unless the female has concrete evidence or witnesses the assailant and UBER get away with it. Thus the stats are low due to the fact UBER don't care about sexual assaults. It only cares about siphoning money to tax havens and not paying for the road and police infrastructure that they use up

Uber are unregulated and swerve every rule they can , they are banned and being banned all over the world I very doubt if people taking up this offer will survive to get their free ride , I ask you to check this Co out , look at social media their vehicles are crashing all over London , driving down one way streets the wrong way etc etc etc .

Haven't 4 people & a 1yr old child in Kensington died because of there un trained un professional drivers & to think this bank have no morals,sorry didn't saudi money bail them out as well as uber.
