This is how I would do it:

Give EE 30 days notice on your current contract (assuming you are outside your current contract and you can leave without penalty. Ask EE for your PAC code whilst doing this.

Order one of these 20Gb Sims with the £100 amazon sims as a new contract. You'll get a new number. Don't open or use it (well, you could do, but I'd leave it alone for the moment). You might need to activate it though.

At this point you'll have two contracts with EE - one is your 'normal' one with your usual number which will expire within 30 days, and one new one with a new number with this £100 amazon voucher offer.

Buy a PAYG sim , I would personally get a Three PAYG sim, one of those 3-2-1 sim only deals and top it up with the minimum, £10 i think. You could get a cheap 30 day pay monthly sim only contract but that will incur a credit check, and I would personally avoid another credit check at this point.

Port your number into the new PAYG sim. At this point your normal number is on Three PAYG.

Call/chat with Three PAYG CS, ask them for a PAC code. You'll use this PAC code to move back to EE via the 20Gb sim you have. <====== this is the bit I'm not sure about. Do you have to wait 30 days before you can ask for the PAC code from Three PAYG (for example) , or can you do it immediately?

If your buying decision was influenced by the £100 voucher (most of us use Amazon regularly so the voucher is effectively cash) then we can demand compensation from EE. They cannot fob us off with saying that the offer was from another company when the voucher is clearly listed on the confirmation invoice they sent.

Had a reply yesterday afternoon, looks like we will still be getting the vouchers.

Good Afternoon,

I hope you are well.

Thank you for your recent email regarding your gift voucher with EE, sorry
for the delay in getting back to you with a response.

We have now been updated from EE that your voucher code will be sent to your
email address 90days from your creation date. This should be around the 21st
June 2017.

I want to thank you for your patience in waiting for the update from EE.
Your voucher will be sent as an ecode voucher to your email address, please
check your junk and spam mail also.

Kind Regards,
EE Rewards

TO SUMMARISE:

YOU WILL NOT GET CASHBACK WITH THIS DEAL

EE ARE A TERRIBLE NETWORK

EE ARE A GREAT NETWORK

VIRGIN MOBILE ARE POTENTIALLY CHEAPER BUT PROBABLY SLOWER AND DON'T OFFER TETHERING

YOU WILL NOT GET THE £100 VOUCHER IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING CUSTOMER

YOU WON'T GET THE AMAZON VOUCHER UNTIL AT *LEAST* THE DAY AFTER THE COOLING-OFF PERIOD EXPIRES, OTHERWISE PEOPLE COULD JUSY TAKE OUT THIS DEAL, SPEND THE FREE VOUCHER AND CANCEL UNDER DSR WITH NO CHARGES.

Just thought I'd summarise in caps, for all those who didn't read the description and post without reading comments.

Hi everyone.

My name is Rich and I work in EE’s comms team. This thread and the outstanding questions regarding Amazon vouchers, and the delay in those being sent, were brought to my attention so I wanted to update you here.

I’ve spoken to the relevant team, and they’ve created a dedicated page on the EE community forum to help Hot UK Deal users who are awaiting Amazon vouchers.

There’s loads of useful information there.

I hope this helps, and please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

Got a voicemail saying my voucher email had been sent!... Joined EE in March !, I've made so many calls to Ee and promo company as I received no voucher.... Checked email and NO EMAIL.!. Due to factory reset of mobile I've lost my call list so couldn't return call to voicemail. So phoned EE they have no idea how to proceed, they gave me an email address that doesn't work a few days ago. Aaaarrrrggggghhhh... The drama continues ;( ;( ;(

I got a call from EE who assured me it was in the post weeks ago and should arrive by mail in a couple of days. A week later I got an email saying they checked their records and it had definitely been sent by email. Although I have been checking my Inbox and Junk emails everyday. Anyway, I got an email reply response the day after I spent £300+ on Prime day with the voucher code and the voucher has now been credited in my Amazon account. Yay.

Offer has finally been honoured.

I raised it as a complaint with EE retentions team and the 2 women I spoke to (1 handed over to another when I got a little frustrated - understandable seeing as I've been expecting vouchers since 14th June) were very nice and gave me plenty of updates...to say that they were waiting to find out the date I would receive them. After 2 weeks of getting several useless "updates", I decided to speak to someone else in the team who very swiftly agreed to just credit me the £100. I've been told it should take up to 4 days to come into my account. Will keep an eye out. At this point, I can't trust anyone until it's visibly there.

It allows you to go to the Ombudsman Services for miss-selling. Once you have the letter (mine took 1 day to come) you can then complete a short online form to the ombudsman and advise what the issue is.... I just copy and pasted my email complaint to EE and sent them that info. I'm not chasing ee any longer for this. I was advised I would get a £100 voucher in the post, then via email. I see some on this forum have had £100 credited to there account. I've still not received my voucher so going to let Ombudsman Services pick it up now.

what is a deadlock letter?
perfecto
8 Jul 17 #769
I still haven't had mine and been advised to wait 14 days to receive an email - even thou it was due on 27/6.

I asked the question if this was a joint promotion between EE, amazon and hot uk deals here the response I got :-

With regards to your question asking whether this is a joint partnership marketing offer between us, Amazon and Hot uk deals, this isn’t something we’d comment on as it is business sensitive.

So I asked ee for a deadlock letter which I now have and will be taking it up with ofcom. Fed up of being told it will be posted to me, emailed me to me.

So I'm not chasing this any longer.

Ta for the link.

Some nice chap at EE gave me a call and has been in touch with the third party. They have apparently ordered another batch of codes or something and it should be with me by the end of the week. Sounds like they are fobbing off EE just like myself, they initially told me to wait 7 days to receive the code from EE? 10 days ago?

I will get the money eventually whether it be from EE or The Marketing Lounge, taking their bloody time though.

I think some part of the outcome could be who picks your call. Went the 150 CS route and just got through to a very helpful chap, Who knew exactly what I was on about as soon as I mentioned voucher. Knew it was the £100 amazon one. He typed out an email to the correct department as I listened, Then told me hes told them to deal with it asap. Also said I should receive a text either tonight or tomorrow updating me with the situation of the voucher & the voucher itself should be received within a week.. Fingers crossed! Really would like it in time for
Prime day

I emailed them on the 7th of June, got a reply on the 8th asking for more information, emailed on the 9th with more details, got a reply on the 16th saying this has been passed to management, haven't heard back since even after 2 subsequent chasers (1 on the 23rd of June and one just now threatening to write a formal complaint if I don't hear back within 24 hours). The whole process is a shambles, it needs completely re-working if they intend to continue to offer vouchers as joining incentives to new customers.
siraj13
29 Jun 17 #719
It seems there's a mix of people going to EE directly and raising a complaint in various ways or just getting lucky with responses from the 3rd party. I've received a standard "apologies for the delay but we will prioritise any late vouchers within the next two weeks) from the 3rd party today but I've already spoken to the retentions team (the accounts department were useless) at EE who have said they will now take ownership of my case. I'm expecting an update tomorrow. Tbh if EE were to just offer me the cash as they have done with some, I would much prefer that.

Called 150 and they're all lovely people but you aren't getting anywhere further. By the sounds of it they are aware of people having issues and the standard line is to email [email protected]. sick of seeing that email address.

I have been tweeting/fb'ing for a few days now expressing my annoyance with all of this. Initially told by the email address my voucher would arrive around the 18th June, got nothing and heard nothing despite repeated emails since.

Rang the number someone listed on here and was told someone would get back to me in 7 days, not satisfied with that.

Tweeted the CEO in one of his "aren't we so great we did so much data at Glasto" spiel tweets and EE customer service finally picked up on it. Now being dealt with by someone from EE executive office apparently. Let's see if I finally get it now...

I am currently waiting for a call back after phoning the number when my email did not arrive after 90 days. We can all insist on getting compensated by EE as the Amazon voucher is clearly listed on the receipt of the SIM transaction and as most are regular Amazon users the voucher is as good as cash.

Claiming the money through the Courts is now easy, just download the form N1 from MOJ website or use money claims online government website and do everything online. Small fee which you will get back (EE will pay that too). Have done it many times and won every time.

It was actually a manager from the billing team that fobbed me off with an email and a "we can't do anything further" spiel. I hung up and went through to retentions where the CA spoke with the digital team who came back with the same. I went off on a rant and used the same speech about not honouring the deal. CA spoke to another manager and they have now escalated with the campaign team who will apparently seek to resolve this. They have promised to call me back this Thursday with an update. Fingers crossed.

They first told me to email eevouchers@ affiliatewindow.com then said no it has changed to [email protected].

" I'm sorry for the email address they've given you. I can see you've said you've contacted that email address numerous times already. The company who deals with those vouchers has changed quite recently. The team you need to contact about the vouchers, if these have not been received after 90 days from connection, is [email protected]."

"The terms and conditions for the offer suggest you'll receive it within 90 days after the 14 days cooling off period. The cooling off period ended on 29 March."

After I told them that they have not replied for over 7 days now, they then escalated my query. You have to insist that they deal with it or you will be canceling the contract as it was missold.

fahimmi10
26 Jun 17 #681
Right now the 01565 number as they deal with vouchers and EE doesn't deal with it. I just called the number above and they said they can put me through to complaints but I would still have to wait upto 7 days after they have failed to contact me after they promised to get in touch.
sweetescape
26 Jun 17 1 #680
Who is best to ring the 01565 656251 number or EE directly?
kad786
26 Jun 17 #679
Also:

I asked:
"Will this be loged so I may contact you if nothing happens? its taken me over 1 hour to get this far with you today."

EE replied:

"Yes. It's all logged with us under complaint reference 4784690 so if you do need to come back through at all the information will all be there. If you do need to come back through, let the chat agent know you were escalated to the complaints team and we're dealing with it, so they can put you straight back through to us."

If anyone wants to use this complaint reference 4784690 to help them speed up their enquiry.
kad786
26 Jun 17 #678
After over an hour talking to EE the have concluded:

"They have confirmed you are eligible, but there seems to be a system issue at the moment that is stopping them from generating the code for you today when they've tried. They have escalated this as an urgent priority and they will send it to you as soon as that's rectified. It should hopefully only be a couple of days at most to get that to you."
kad786
26 Jun 17 #677
EE complaint department is now dealing with it. They have said:

"It's certainly not a fraudulent company, as it's a deal we are aware of and we have their details internally to pass customers to for queries."

"It looks to me like you should receive it tomorrow. I'm trying to get confirmation from that team."
meedster20
26 Jun 17 1 #676
I also contacted EE directly after my call to the number I previously specified didn't prevail. The advisor stated it was "best to stay away" from such deals. Well this irritated me somewhat as the contract was sold directly via EE itself ! He admitted that they didn't even have sufficient contact details for who was dealing with it. I've made a formal complaint and provided them with notice that I will be cancelling my contract if their attempts to contact this company don't work as I've been mis sold goods. He agreed to contact me back within a few days with an update. Definitely put me off doing something like this again.

25 Jun 17 #675
I contacted EE direct Thursday, they said they know about the £100 voucher. She took my details and contacted a different team. She advised that you will receive the voucher in the post within 90 days of accepting the email they sent after the 14 days or during the cooling off period. So it's 90 days from when you click on the link in the offer email you recieved, not when you signed up to the contract. In my case I have to wait until 4th July.
If I don't get it I will complain to Ofcom by before I do you need to request a deadlock letter from EE.

All of us, shouldn't take the pill that they, EE try to sell us, that offer came from a third party, we got the contract on official EE website not on mobiles dot co dot UK or else. In the confirmation email from EE, they mentioned the voucher too, so, all together, it should be in contract t&c... If we don't get the voucher in time, we should be able to cancel the contract without any termination fees.

If your buying decision was influenced by the £100 voucher (most of us use Amazon regularly so the voucher is effectively cash) then we can demand compensation from EE. They cannot fob us off with saying that the offer was from another company when the voucher is clearly listed on the confirmation invoice they sent.

Once you have passed your 14 day cooling off period and are still connected to the EE network, you will receive an email containing your £100 gift and how to redeem. This will happen within 3 months of connecting to the network.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/apple-iphone-7-32gb-black-25-99-per-month-75-upfront-after-discount-code-for-unlimited-2642136

The clever keyboard warriors of HUKD voted it cold, but I thought it was an excellent deal and got one myself. Deal is still on. If above doesnt work, search it via USWITCH as I think its a USWITCH exclusive and you have to use a code supplied by Uswitch.

Be very careful of using another network PAYG sim to port your current EE number (assuming youre with EE currently) and back to EE again on this deal. I ported out to O2 PAYG, and while the port out worked OK, O2 wouldnt release me a PAC code until I topped up with £10. I got lucky though as I complained to head office after a misleading chat transcript and they gave me my PAC code to go back to EE. I would personally port out to Asda next time as I believe that requires a min £5 top up.

Did anyone receive their first bill today? Mine's come to £20.86 with VAT when I was expecting £19.99 as per the deal? Might be a small amount though I'm just anticipating future bills.

My breakdown according to them is as shows:-

Monthly plan charges - £29.88
£10 plan discount - £8.33 (?)
£5 plan discount - £4.17(?)
= £17.38 (£20.86 with 20% VAT)

Any idea why?

Just following on from above post.
Folks new to EE could test the signal with the ASDA payg sim also.

Business customers - we have five sim only with 10GB shared, unlimited mins and text - £60.00 plus VAT or £12.00 plus VAT each
So this kind of price target is availaible, but perhaps only for a number of users, not sure. Worth a call to EE business sales, if sim only meets your needs.

Great post.
Only thing I would change is instead of the Three payg sim is get an ASDA payg sim.

• ASDA piggy back off EE, so great signal, no loss of service to use credit
• Sim is free 08000792732 delivered or £1.00 in store
• top up minimum £5.00

Cheers

Hi Guys,

i am an Existing EE Customer. i had a 24 Months contract of which have run out on January and was paying £36.99 a month, and thus as it finished January 2017 i am now on rolling contract paying the same £36.99 a month until i have seen this offer.

i have ordered the sim and 2 days later i have given EE a call on 08000790531 (no waiting too) regarding my order (They will ask for the XKN Number) of which you will get via email.

while on the phone they have told me that it will be processed soon enough so while i had them on the phone i have told them that i would like to keep my current number.

The lady said "most certainly" so as i called them on the current number that i wanted to keep they have changed the processing sim to the number i was using.

after the conversation about 1-2 hours my sims network disappeared so i knew that the number have changed.

and a day later my new sim card has arrived with my current number.

so no activation required no PAC code no switching to other network and back

they have done it all in one jolly go. WONDERFUL

Just to check i logged into myEE account and it has been updated to 20gb and also the £19.99 / Month

The only worrying thing is that i did not get an email regarding the £100 Amazon? WHY? Does anyone know?

Cracking deal, I ordered a EE sim two days ago to trial out so should arrive tomorrow (not in my name). Ex O2 customer, currently switched over to Virgin along with another famiy member and the signal in my house is a nightmare.

I am, Virgin has terrible signal in my house for some reason. Works great everywhere else though. EE supports 4G calling and WiFi calling on iPhones plus it's double speed 4G so will be faster. And Virgin customer service is also terrible.

We have four people in my house hold so I'm doing it this way - £19.99 + 16.20 + £12 + £12 = £60.49 a month. Works out a £52 a month for the first year because of the voucher. Currently the four of us are paying £48 a month on Virgin.

£19.99 = 20gb of data, unlimited mins, unlimited texts (full price) for me which also gives the £100 Amazon voucher
£16.50 + (12 + 12) = £40.5 shared 20gb of data, unlimited mins, unlimited texts between three people for three other family members who can all share the 20GB of data as they don't need it

I'm not sure if the three people sharing can be ordered online or only in store though. If it's over the phone, might try to haggle to get a free signal box although it shouldn't be needed as we have full WiFi coverage all over our house.

Hotukdeals.con still conning the public. It's their deal. Not EE. We think this site is for people to report good deals when really it's a company selling stuff. I asked EE. They said they won't be sending any vouchers so I guess it's deal.con doing that. By the way, asked EE and this deals.con offer goes up t o 34.99 after 12 month, lol. So make sure you take your voucher (if you get it) and run. Nothing to do with EE. Most likely you are getting conned by hotukdeals.con selling their own offers and them being sponsored by so called give aways

Awesome deal man, great find. Just ordered mine. Nice one!

19 Mar 17 1 #424
Feels a bit odd using a deal run by hotukdeals. But it's great value and after 5 years looking forward to binning giffgaff and their slow speeds, will just have to be careful when it rises to £34.99 + RPI in 12 months time.

Looks like EE is really trying to boost their signup numbers before the financial year ends.

Then once received sim, transfer your PAC code over.

Sorry if this seems like a silly question - wanted to know best timescale

1) Current EE customer. ---> 2) Switch to PAYGO -----> 3) PAC number transfer --------> 4) Get Deal ------> 5) PAC Transfer back to EE

How quickly after the PAC transfer to PAYGO can you Get the deal and then PAC back?
OR what I suppose I'm asking is how long should you keep the PAYGO number - or can you do it almost immediately afterwards?

Cheers.

I believe once you go over, then it's charged at the same rate per MB as you would be charged per MB in the UK..... So providers are not allowed to charge extra, compared to UK prices, but that doesn't mean it's included automatically in your contract allowance, that will be UK mins texts and data, unless otherwise specified.

This is exactly what I was thinking. On live chat they got pretty arsey that I wanted this deal. I said couldn't I just request my PAC code and transport it from one sim to the other. They said if I were staying with EE it would mean I would get a new number or need to upgrade. He refused to talk to me after that and told me to go to upgrades. The temporary sim seems to make the most sense - adding a month in between to get a better deal doesn't bother me.

amazon vouchers work by being applied to an account in one go, ie all the credit is applied to the account with 1 voucher code.
how you spend it is up to you, spend it all in one go on a 100£ purchase, or spend it on smaller purchases as and when you need to.
tldr, there's no need to spend it in one go.

The £34.99 is part of the plan name as that is the standard cost, you will pay £19.99 for the life of the connection (apart from any RPI increases), it won't revert back to £34.99 at the end of the contract. It would need to clearly state that is the case in the description and terms.

Package 1 of 1
EE 4G Multi SIM
12M SIM 4GEE Plan 20GB £34.99

Then in the pay monthly column it states £19.99

Its the £34.99 part that is odd, as I never saw any reference to it anywhere before - will this mean that it reverts back to that price after 12 months? Can people check their emails and let me know if they have the same?
rossmacgill to jonathan_phang

I've also been on 3's nice £15 AYCE eat data 200 minutes package for a while, but this will probably tempt me away. I called up three and they really won't budge on giving me a better deal - all I really want is for them to keep me at the same rate I am. Some of the lady's arguments were hilarious though, I especially liked when she asked me what shop the voucher was for, "Amazon", followed by her questioning whether I would actually be likely to spend £100 in there, lol. Then she kept coming back with new deals, all of which were more than £15 or didn't include tethering...

This is not at EE deal. It's hotukdeals conning the public again. This site isn't about finding deals, it's often about a business advertising their own. This is a hotukdeals own deal to get you on EE.

I contracted EE who told me this. Also after 12 months the contract reverts back to £34.99 per month. This explains why they only show you the bill over a 12 month period. Also EE said it may take 3 months to get the Amazon voucher. I asked them what I should do if it didn't come. They said it would..............But somehow EE direct couldn't offer me the same deal. The plan stays at £19.99 until you upgrade or change plan, the only potential increase is the standard RPI increase that all major networks do yearly and it's usually under 3%

EE is a horrible network. They don't care about existing customers at all. If you say that other network is cheaper you will hear all that **** how superior and reliable EE is. Funny thing that every time I go to hospital in my town my phone is totally dead when all people around me with other networks can use theirs.
schnide to lucyferror
14 Mar 17 1 #55
YMMV. I've really enjoyed being a customer of theirs for the last few years and don't seem to get any network issues at all. It could be your phone - not saying it is, but EE aren't the terrible company you make them out to be in my experience.
bryan1979 to lucyferror

In terms of coverage, speed and reliability it is superior to all other networks. The issue at the moment is that they use higher frequencies that O2 and Voda to transmit signal which is not great at penetrating buildings. They are rolling out a lower frequency 4G signal at the moment which will be better for indoor coverage than any other U.K. network.

I just finished my contract and contacted EE to see if I was eligible for this deal
they told me that I would have to leave at first.

then they offered me £10 for first 6 months and £20 for last 6 months. ( £180 over 12 months)

I said it was not good enough and told them £10 first 6 months and £15 last 6 months (£150 over 12 months = £12.50 pm) is more reasonable compared to OP deal

they told me to hold and few minutes later got back and agreed on the deal

to sum up, I got upgraded from PAYG sim to the same tariff for £12.50 pm, no need to wait for voucher

hope this helps

I'm afraid to set up a direct debit, which is the way any contract (mobile, broadband, etc..), the credit check they do requires three years of UK address you lived, in other words in theory you have to have lived in UK for at least three years to sign any contract.
minhp to mheadroom
15 Mar 17 #222
You need a UK bank account (Barclays, Lloyds, Halifax). That's all. No needed 3 years like yulu91 said. If you opened with Barclays, you could get credit card few 1-2 years later on as they tended to take risk (calculated) unlike other banks. FYI, I was overseas student before and signed sim contract on first 2 week in the UK.

If you can't open one but having family members here, kindly ask them to open one for you and then transfer to your name once you are here and have a bank account.

My EE contract is just finishing. Had a fairly poor retention offer last week.

Spoke with them this PM about this order. They said they couldn't add the Amazon voucher over the phone. But if I ordered online then phoned back and spoke to their digital sales team, they would basically treat the new contract as an upgrade, letting me keep my current sim and number.

Sure enough, this happened seamlessly once I got this digital sales team. Have confirmation texts and emails from them confirming new plan has been transferred to existing sim. Was told to expect the Amazon voucher in due course.

Thanks a mill OP!!

That is what I want to avoid being on the phone for 45mins. Being too polite and letting them start their speech about a possible new deal. I'm currently paying £17 for unlimited data but what I noticed when abroad in the US was that their internet is rubbish. My friend on O2 got super fast 4G in LA and I got 3G which was so slow it was none existent.

I contacted customer services and they said no.

I went back online and ordered another and then contacted them to say there was an issue with the order (mine said failed on the website but the I got an email saying it was successful).

They said it should be ok. The agent was going to reduce the second line rental to £16.50 but having spoken to her boss they said it's best to leave it at £19.99, so I did.

I already have 2 EE contracts so I will be doing to port out and port in.

EE said I could transfer to pay on the end of my current contracts and then port the number back in with a dais for so, but I have to put £10 on each PAYG sim which I would loose unless I used it

So if anyone knows a network where you could move on to and out of quickly please share it

Been two years since I last had to do this, but 3 gave us the PAC straight away. Also I just grabbed "3" Pay GO SIM's from pound land which had a quid on it (from memory).

Worth making sure nothings changed with 3's policy with regard to issuing PAC codes. Also worth checking EE's policy on porting in. In the past i've come across instances where a network would only allow you to port a number IN within 30 days of the contract starting.

As Virgin piggyback on their network you are not getting the same service as a EE customer.
Believe me I went through this with Virgin plenty of times as I would get no signal at all but friends on EE were fine getting 4G etc. Various locations same thing was happening.

"Many people"? Again, that's pretty much meaningless. Your perception, much as it may seem, is not always reality.

EE's complaint levels are below the industry average:

https://www.lovemoney.com/news/12583/the-uks-worst-mobile-phone-provider

That's the most recent data I came across in an (admittedly very brief) search. So therefore "many people" don't agree with you. Not being harsh here - just being fair.

I enquired to EE as an existing Sim only customer paying quite a bit more than this. I asked if I could have this deal. As expected:

"This deal is for new customers only"

I then explained that they advertise as offering "Existing customers get our best deals". After a bit of back and forth I found this deal for the same setup but for £16.49 a month WITHOUT the voucher.

http://shop.ee.co.uk/my-offers/sim-only-deals

Again, this is for "new sims only" but after asking for a manager they let me have this deal as an existing customer. Not as good as the one with the voucher but still a very good deal.

It's quite likely they won't confirm you will get a voucher until after the cooling off period has passed - they don't want people having confirmation of a voucher only to then leave the contract within the 14 days. Of course if they confirmed it under the condition you need to stay in contract it would be fine, but I suspect they don't think logically like this.

i recently bought same deal for 16.49 without any voucher

They do offer this deal at £16.49 for existing customers, but the £100 voucher (if kosher) does make it cheaper by a couple of quid a month.

I called EE to cancel this order as I am not a new customer. They say they can't cancel as its through a third party and i need to wait until i get my SIM.

So.... I signed my husband up to the deal and he is NOT an existing customer, but still no redemption email.

Has anyone else received theirs, and how long did it take to come through?

Just signed into my EE account as my contract (16GB for £20) expires in just under a month and there is a banner saying I am entitled to an upgrade and this deal minus the voucher is there.

The voucher would be nice but for existing customers who don't want the hassle of porting numbers back and forth could be an option.

should have waited for this instead of signing up to BT 2 months ago just to claim Amazon voucher when I still had 2 months left on EE smh

Brilliant.

Nice to not have to ring EE and haggle for the deal.
Does anyone know how quickly the redemption email gets sent out?
I've received confirmation of my order from EE and it has the AWMARSIMO100 in the order total but not had a redemption email.

I did wait for about a month to get mine last summer and then I called them. I've got my Amazon voucher after 3 months or so. I believe that if you insist emailing them, they will send it faster

I know what you have written makes sense, just trying to do the same thing. I want to keep my number and I am already with ee. just called them and they said that they cannot hour this, for existing customers as this is a 3rd party deal. so I would need to get my pac code transfer my number to lets say a 02 pay as you go. Then transfer it back? but how do I transfer it back if I am midway through the new contract. sorry for the million questions just want to make sure I understand.

good deal. Just come to the end of my 2 year phone contract with EE. Can I order this, in the meantime, move my existing contract to some cheap PAYG deal, and move back to this EE sim with my PAC code?
easyrider81 to shaggy
14 Mar 17 2 #22
you need to give your 30 day notice to EE and get your PAC code then port it out to a PAYG like you said. You would need to get another PAC code from your PAYG network then to port it back in to EE.

At what point do you receive this redemption e-mail? I have just received confirmation e-mail of the order. Is this after the SIM is activated?

Thanks
