Came across this on EE website.

EE 4G Multi SIM

Up to 60Mbps

Unlimited text messages

Unlimited minutes

20 GB data

500 MB EU roaming data

12 months plan

Use your minutes and texts in the EU

Although it says existing customers only it does work for anyone! I've got my email confirmation to accept my order and sign electronic contract (I'm not on with EE)

If for whatever reason it doesn't work (it didn't for my wife!) just get a PAYG sim, register it, and thereafter add this as your extra sim! Works a treat!

For £16.49 per month, really can't go wrong for what you get!

Link unfortunately doesn't allow me to get this deal for £16.49, I was getting quoted £22.50 instead :disappointed:

Whether I was doing something wrong or not, we'll never know but I just renewed my contract to unl mins & texts/30GB/15GB in Europe/free BT sport and 6 months free Apple Music for £20 with EE after not getting offered anything close beforehand so keep trying people and you just never know!

Tried to get this deal but it is only for existing customers and on a second line. I found an even better deal in the end by switching to a 3 contract- a Samsung S7 with 30gb data, unlimited calls and texts for £29 a month. Was previously with EE for a long time on the £19.99 Sim only deal (20gb, unltd calls and data). Goodbye EE...

Indeed. Very shortsighted of them though. And the bitter experience has turned me from a Voda-fan into a Voda-detractor. I'll enjoy moving my business to a company that actually seems to give a shoot.

Yes, I found out the hard way. I had assumed it was automatically capped - which it should be by law, IMHO.

Sorry it did not work out for you! I just saw it apply on the website and assumed it was OK.

I actually went for the BT 15GB for £16pm a couple weeks back, and already have £80 quidco track for it so that has worked out a better deal, as tempting as this was!

Has anyone been successful in getting this for £13.19 a month with the NHS or other discount? I ordered it at that price successfully but got an email shortly after asking me to ring them so I did and it sounded like the lady was going to put it through ok but spoke with her manager who sounds like made her say I can only have one or the other: this for £16.49 or the £19.99 deal with NHS discount making it £16.69, so I've cancelled it which is a bummer!

I'd be careful with this one, I used an employee discount through work and they didn't apply it even though it went through on the website, I called randomly to confirm my deal once I got my phone and was told it didn't go through. Even after it went through the extra sim only deal for this same price didn't go through as well. They kept them at £45.99 and 19.99. I had to call to sort everything out, not a fan of EE. They do everything possible to avoid honoring deals. The adviser on the phone also said that their website is awful. I'd be surprised if that Amazon voucher one worked for people.

3 Apr 17 #81
Anyone know how this works with existing customers who are coming to the end of a phone contract like myself. It says additional line so I'd have to have another contract as well as this? Could I not just open this contract on its own?

order this on saturday, got a confirmation email but just got a cancellation email today, rang customer services and they said because i'm not with ee, i cant get this deal! stupid! i then asked that i want to join ee, whats the best they can give, they said this same deal for £19.99 :disappointed:

Discount worked for me.you will find the option on the same page +got a voucher click on plus sign n get the space to fill in.

Thanks for posting this. I have Virgin Media broadband/tv and called EE to say I had been offered the same deal. They offered me unlimited texts/mins and 10GB 4Gmax which I can use in the EU for £15 a month (12 month contract). Might not be the best deal around but I don't mind a 12 month contract and don't use that much data but with the extra speed and use abroad it's good for me

its worth a go killabyte remember to order the sim only deals from EE directly double check the returns policy. Avoid third party shops like Carphone Warehouse (an awful shop for problems and returns) according to their website you can't return sim only deals on certain networks like EE, I've looked into it). Good luck :innocent:

I guess ee might be the same with me but I'll still give it a go. Was with o2 before 3 and never had any issues. Only left cause no signal at work. Plus I got a feeling that it could be my phone that has the issue. It's a Samsung Galaxy s6 from Germany. So maybe the Germany phone has issues connecting to the signal masts? Dunno. I've told three and they can't do anything and don't reduce my bills cause they say I'm already on a fantastic deal and can't reduce anymore (think they want me to leave on purpose lol) I'll order the sim and see how it plays out. Fingers crossed it's better cause I'm selling my car and I know I'm Missing out on a lot of calls
hotdealsareus123
31 Mar 17 #55
tbh killabyte you were lucky to get messages of missed calls and voicemails with Three's signal box. People would call I'd have no notification, the calls would just cut off all the time. I had it plugged in for 2 years. I had a reduction in monthly tariff too because I was so fed up with the dreadful service. I went sim only this time because I was so fed up in paying mobile providers so much for nothing. As I said joined EE this week only one bar of signal if that downstairs so not much better. Think I live in a blackspot or something. I hope that you have better luck than I've had :smirk:

I have issues with three. It's kinda the same, got a home signal box and add still have issues with the signal. Some ppl still can't get through to me and sends them to voicemail, I then get an text saying I got a new voicemail. Really annoying! Think I might try ee and see if they better with the 14 day cooling off period. If not just cancel and get my money back
hotdealsareus123
31 Mar 17 1 #52
Don't be impressed by cheap looking tarrifs... coverage checkers aren't accurate,, I live in a good signal area for everything according to the EE coverage checker!. I took the £19:99 EE sim only deal last week, unlimited minutes, texts and 20 gb data. The signal is awful where I live, downstairs, lucky to get a bar of 3g! (was with Three for 2 years had to use a home signal box via WiFi to get a signal, it was terrible). There's no point in having 20 gb of data if you can't use it!.

If someone is already in a 12 month contract with them (since August) there's nothing they can do to get this or another better deal right?

Saw the deal on here (it was a couple of months back so maybe not available now?) - rang up asking for it specifically and said I was going to leave as there was a similar deal on three and got the discounted rate for 12 months + free BT sport all for £15 per month.
