It would be good if this worked with short pet hairs on car seats for instance, nothing seems to get them off

I've got an animal and mini bullterriers, it doesn't work with them, probably their hairs are shorter? They seem to almost weave themselves into cloth seats (the hairs that is  ) I've also got a Dyson v6 absolute which is equally useless. I thought maybe the scrubbing action of this attachment might work?
I'm rapidly going off Dysons, they smell however much you clean them and the full size ones leak through all the connections

no longer available, expire the deal. Hot while it was available
I just purchased the Dyson pet groom tool for £18.00 on AO.
On Amazon and other sites it is listed around the £36-£40 mark. On AO it's £20.00!, I was also able to use the 10% discount code FLOORCARE10 to get it down to £18.00 with free delivery, BARGIAN
Now i am just hoping my dog takes to it.

Out of stock there but Amazon has a copy for about £18 plus an adapter for about £5 to fit any Dyson (which I have bought, maybe it will work)

You got my hopes up then - I thought you were talking about a shaver that attaches to the hoover, like the Suck-Cut from Wayne's World

You need the stubborn dirt tool which is a stiff bristle brush. That should work fine for you.
